Our Farms that we came to in 1853 were already settled, then we ended up having to put up on the road that ran up to a very popular Beach Resort can we put up with nothing but assholes, if you shove some bacon into your Yap this morning you better show some goddamn respect the farmers or you could just fuck off, what what are you going to do KZbin you going to ban me again because it hurts some man bun wearing panty wearing pieces of craps feelings? Go ahead try it you miserable soy boy idiots, oh God damn it hurt somebody's feelings well it's about time we hurt somebody's feelings, when your belly is full you better think about this and quit running people's civil rights and freedom of speech because you're going to get sued back to the Stone Age and you're not going to be around anymore and that is going to be a good thing because you're nothing but garbage

I miss emptying our Lagoon. I did have a local pumper that had the fendt tractor, I installed a raven Viper 4 with slingshot in the cab just like your co-op applicators have. He pumped a lot of municipal storage systems. He had to be spot on for rate and the slingshot allowed him to give an up to the minute update to area covered and then what his application rate said they could go measure their pit and confirm that he's spot on or needs to adjust. The minute he was done pumping he could email a statement and by the time they were cleaned up, packed up ready to go the customer was there with a check. The slingshot as well as the tractor data through the tractors website allowed him to check progress even at night when the hired help was running. He could see if they stop the tractor for any length of time, fuel status...

That sounds impressive. The technology to monitor and run the pump and everything is unreal!
@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 Жыл бұрын
@followafarmer he had a system like you did for controlling and monitoring the pumps. So he can shut the pumps down remotely. The technology in the tractor was just for mapping and proof of application rate

Wow! I went to SUNY Cobleskill with Walt back in the early 1980's. What a wonderful, amazing family he has. I couldn't be more proud of him. What a tremendous impact he has had on farming.

55,000 taps? How many trees is that?
@devmeistersuperprecision415510 ай бұрын
Depends. I am organic and follow rules. A tree needs to be 10 in dia for one tap. At about 15 to 18 in, you can run two taps. Organic doesn’t want more than two taps per tree but very large trees can get three taps. I am running about 80 taps per acre right now. My goal is to get to 5000 taps.

Fascinating. I had no idea so much went into making maple syrup. It’s far more technical than I realized. “Everyone” just talks about boiling it down and about 40 gallons of sap makes one gallon gallon of syrup. Then you see a picture of a small shed. Not the case anymore. Also, I loved the family aspect and this man’s initiative and drive-yet he seemed nice. Great video.
