Very sad to hear that news I didn't realise the big man passed away. I brought a few of his albums in dalston rigney road market ruby Edwards record shop .. I guess in life we not supposed to live forever but the spirit does no doubt about that we cannot die 40 years research unit proves that to be the case and plus with personal experience. Wow Ruby Edwards shop/stall in Ridley market Dalston. I also bought records from there. I still have them. Another large stall was just inside the market. Thank you for the memories. I miss those days. If there is a tune you want uploaded and l have it, do let me know.

@JamesBrown-ob9mh yes James you are right I only went there a few times but I remember in 1994 at Christmas I spent about £300 on records from ruby Edwards and the shop to the right if I can remember correctly pretty close to a pub.. good old days. 👍

In 1990 I was 13 and I accidentally got into reggae music 3 months after that John Holt become my favourite artist and still is to this day followed closely by beres Hammond... And what you say is true be glad of the people what are still around it will be a long time before we will see them again and we will see them again we live on forever..💯🇬🇧👍
