Brah this old school hawaiian jams taking me back memory lane in the early 80s and 90s, back when we where all keikis playing with all the causins and all the uncles playing music on the guitars and auntie's and mom stay in the kitchen with tutu, was always at waimanalo or westside man those where goodtimes❤ when things where simple and so much aloha and good fun, i really really miss it so much 😢😢❤❤

La voix falsetto de Dennis Pavao est tout simplement envoutante. Je me rappelle de leur passage à Tahiti. Toute la population était au rendez-vous. Magnifique.

Love Dennis Pavao's falsetta voice. He was about the first one to record his falsetta voice, I think! No matters. He's my favorite even after all these years. However, there are new ones I enjoy thoroughly ... Mark Yamanaka ... for one. Mahalos. Thank goodness I had the wear with alls to buy their CD's.

It reminds me of guitar player Walter Trout's harmonica playing and some of the cords Watler Trout plays on his guitar. They are both incredible players. This is such a great song and one of my favorites. I wish they would re-issue this CD again. All the songs are pretty good.

Even if I were to attend the most prestigious universities in the world I would still be second rate to who I primarily should have been “a self sustaining Hawaiian on Hawaiian lands”.

Wendy Campbell completely agreed. I love love this song so much. Makes me cry when I hear it cause my tutu would hula to this song. And other times she would sit by her phonograph with her Kamaka and try to figure out the chords and play with the record

I grew up with Hui Ohana from 1969 on to whenever they stopped performing and Ned and Dennis passed on. Legendary band from Kalapana, which is the most beautiful place on the Big Island. Their music was soo beautiful and soothing. So glad Ledward has continued the legacy and the music!

I loved listening to the Hui Ohana growing up in Samoa during the 70s this really brings back memories. I admired and loved Hawaiian music from then on and was amazed with the talent of these musicians. Now having internet I can really see Led, Dennis and Ted in action. Awesome group one of my favourite for a long time. Thanks for sharing their true talent.
