It’s hard to imagine two people complaining so much about their privileged lives. They haven’t even worked jobs and they somehow bought a multi million dollar farm.

NOT A FALL MOVIE. For true fall vibes, It should have been apples or pumpkins, in my opinion. Also, it was a slow movie with little plot development and random events that made no sense. It's as much a fall movie as the parent trap is (Which is a great movie btw). We were more focused on the pumpkins we were painting, than this movie.

From wikipedia…”The majority of Northern Hemisphere harvesting occurs in late August to early October with some late harvest wine grapes being harvested throughout the autumn. In Germany, Austria, the United States and Canada, ice wine grapes can be harvested as late as January.”

What a stupid concept these screen writers came up with. They must think their audience is just a bunch of sheep just like the characters in this movie. To get married you need a marital license, which you don't get from God, you get that from a judge. "Marriage" by law is the union between two individuals. Marrying yourself would not constitute as the union between two individuals, therefore she probably wouldn't have been awarded a marital license to marry herself. By the way, love and marriage goes together like a horse and carriage. I drove a horse and buggy for seven years in Philadelphia, I wasn't required to dress up like a founding father, and it was pretty good money. I should've added, what the screen writers I think are trying to express in the form of an allegory is what is called the "chemical wedding", which is achieved from a properly functioning human brain. By marrying herself she's referring allegorically to reaching balanced consciousness. She represents the Right hemisphere of the Neocortex and the buggy driver represents the Left hemisphere of the Neocortex. All other male characters represent the reptilian brain (responsible for survival functions) and all other female characters represent the mammal brain (responsible for nurturing and emotions). Her match doesn't come onto the scene until she starts to elevate in consciousness and by the end of the movie she achieves total consciousness represented by marrying the buggy driver, the right hemisphere coming into harmony with the left hemisphere.

She knew it would not be legal. Obviously no one can marry themselves. It was meant to be symbolic for her

I prefer movies I don't mind my children watching. As soon as they went to bed, it ruined it for me. I wish they'd make movies that involved falling in love and not just basing their relationship on lust. what a dissapointment
