Unless all our govt / private agencies work together in tandem, this traffic mess in our city will continue forever ... Few of us have joined hands with BTP as Traffic Wardens of BCP-Traffic Warden Organization to assist BTP in Traffic Regulation, Education and Awareness ..

While the notion of collective social responsibility is commendable, we must acknowledge the significant challenges that exist in our current infrastructure. With inadequate public transport that only covers about 10% of our needs, high taxes, and a growing economy, restricting personal vehicle ownership could hinder the mobility and aspirations of many individuals striving to improve their lives. Furthermore, this could inadvertently promote crony capitalism by limiting access to transportation to those who can afford alternatives. A more balanced approach that improves public transport infrastructure and makes it accessible and affordable is essential before imposing such restrictions.

Well said Ranjith. The key takeways from our discussion: -Public infrastructure to move at a faster pace than current, and not just relying on metro but a better feeder system and more suburban railways and building perifary cities/pockets outside Bangalore. -On your point on vehicle ownership we already somehow have the hindrance on car ownership with high road tax and registration costs with minimal infrastructure. If you noted our point that 2000 vehicles are added on the road each day, which means, there is that much road tax also collected at the same time, so there should be enough budget to build the Bangalore infra we need.

Honest and candid interview. Is BBMP listening? BTP can’t control street vendors but can penalise people parking their vehicles on the road because of them or because of infamous town planning strategy of allowing shops on every road. As much as BBMP or other agencies need to act, enforcement must be robust and not occasional. Look at Sahakara Nagar or Kodigehalli main road any evening. People openly come on wrong side without any fear of being hit or cops or system. Need a control system before these roadside parking become a norm in Bangalore

@rohit You are right. What is mainly needed: -Better Road lane system where it does not become larger and smaller, causing bottlenecks. -Also how street vendors should be given their space at appropriate locations, they also serve a large community with food and services that are much needed, but not ofcourse at the cost of blocking or restricting traffic.

Apt topic to analyze and dissect. It's a subject that is feared as much as it fascinates. And it cannot be better timed. US based OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT, has claimed that it acted within 24 hours to disrupt deceptive uses of AI in covert operations focused on the just concluded Indian elections, leading to no significant audience increase. It is absolutely clear and obvious that @BJP4India was the target of influence operations. Describing its operations, OpenAI said activity by a commercial company in Israel called STOIC was disrupted. So, its usefulness in a hyper-connected digitised world where social media plays and increasingly influence the way we consume information, the way we eat, the way we dress etc., is beyond debate. It's a nice smooth flowing chat that will help the audience understand the nuances of AI. India shouldn't miss the bus like it did some two centuries back when the spinning jenny ushered in the industrial revolution. Great team-work. My compliments!

You seem to me to be stupid. If the government needs a larger tax base it should ensure that more people should get rich and come within the tax paying bracket.

Hi Vizar, there are many ways to increase the tax collections, this is more on our current situation where people and companies evade tax and not following compliance, ofcourse the higher the average income the higher the tax income, watch our full video to see the other points :) Thank you.
