@@YOC38 Stay in with the shadow poli. You can actually win the zeros by landing the dynamic punch but most ludi will shield so a bait of the icy wind is a safe play too

@@philantemalone9675 Yeah ludi leads are tough but you need to stay in with the shadow poli. Once poli goes down, you come in ferro and read the pivot based off of what they come in with

@@philantemalone9675 When inputting ivs on go stadium, there is no need to check the box that says "shadow legendary" as those only pertain to those from raids. Make sure you have the box marked "wild catch" selected and you can check the rank/stats of your shadow pokemon. You want this box checked for both non-shadow and shadow pokemon in order to properly check their rank. As for the shadow cresselia, if you're more motivated in the great league and ultra league over master league, then I'd definitely recommend using that extra radar on another cress :)

They don't necessarily "matter" but can help out in some situations such as winning cmp with the shadow poli (a little more attack), getting the mud shot break point against ferro with the shadow quag (a little more attack), getting the mud shot bulk point against shadow quag with your ferro (more bulk/higher defense)

Generally higher rank so you can beat shadow dragonair in the 2s

@@davidcannon671 I honestly can’t agree more with this. I was struggling like never before to hit 2500. I used few teams suggested by other KZbinrs but they just wouldn’t work for me. Then I stumbled upon this channel about two weeks ago and saw the team of Poliwrath, S Quagsire, and Ferrathorn. I must’ve watched that video 3-4 times. His detailed explanation of how the team works and what to do in different situations was exactly what I needed. No offence to the other KZbinrs but they rarely go into such detail.

Swap into ape after throwing 1 wing attack (to check that lanturn is on water gun).

The shadow gligar and lanturn have higher stat products where the annihilape can be either high bulk or the licki slayer depending on preference :)

@@bigmajkk Safe swap into quag right away. If they stay in with the mantine, it’s your choice to bait the mud bomb or full send the stone edge. If you do successfully bait with the mud bomb however, you will reach a stone edge on the cmp tie to their next move that kos which is nice

They both have their merits that depends on your team composition and playstyle. The one I have in this video is more bulk oriented but I have a cmp ape I like to use as well. It all comes down to preference :)

Shadow gligar ivs aren't "super" important. One matchup you might lose out on would be beating shadow dragonair in the 2 shield scenario, but other than that, it should be fine.

@@jermverde1 I swap into ferro right away. Ferro wins all even shield scenarios straight thunder as long as you’re throwing on good timing

@@changedwin The ferro you’ve faced probably get the mud shot bulk point against your quagsire then. The higher attack you have, the greater of a chance you have of your mud shots doing 3 damage and not 2 damage which have a very important impact in that matchup. Also make sure you’re throwing on good timing and it should work out! :)

Happy to hear the team is working out for you! Ludi leads are very tough but you have to stay in with the poli and build up to the dynamic punch. From there, it's your call to full send the dp or bait with the icy wind, but baiting with the icy wind tends to be the better call as they'll most likely shield your move :)

It's a very high attack stat to guarantee the mud shot break point, but my quagsire has a decently lower attack than that and still reaches it against most. So while guaranteeing it is nice, it's not necessarily needed to reach it :) Hopefully the team treats you well!

Had a terrible day yesterday and went 7-13, but went on a year today and went 20-10 including a couple 5-0 sets. Sitting at 2859 elo now and sticking with the team despite almost never winning switch. It’s nuts how many lost leads can turn into wins if played well with this team. Fingers crossed I can avoid the tap tap tap teams tomorrow I’ve started to see more.
