I first saw Danny at age 14 now I'm 67 and not over him yet,he was the finest nicest guy you could ever meet, I miss him so much as well as Billy Winsor (great fellow who lived in Waldorf MD was Danny's band mate who drove him sometimes from gigs, I just want to listen to DANNY GATTON until I die,never say Robert Gordan but I've been listening to the Humbler for years God Bless Danny and Billy W I miss those 2 guys ,his loyal fan Martin Collier

handsome young man, great voice,he made it, in the business, not real big, but he died very young.30 yrs. old.did a lot of cover songs, his best, I believe,was dreamin.i still sing it at shows.i think he was very good.
