To add salt to the wound it hurts and Elisa was coming back after Peggy's funeral 8 months before Philip died and was still recovering from Peggy's death and Elisa was also pregnent with there 8th child so that hurt Elisa more and she was in a lot of pain just like adding half of a salt bottle on to a wound
