I watched him. Watched Clippers more than few times live here in LA. I love RW - ALWAYS thought he's a great player/HOF guy. But, aside from half a dozen games - he was pretty bad. Especially shooting and decision making. Again - I still think RW is a HOFer, and I think he can help 2nd unit (as it's the worst in NBA forever now), but the holes left by BB/KCP/JG and now declining Murray - are just too big for RW (and Saric) to fill in.

@@Byokku2013 I don't think we disagree much. I think he might be just the right thing for Nuggets 2nd unit (hed be great next to Jokic too) - strong-minded, hard-playing, still athletic leader... I hope he still has enough in his tank and I hope he's better in decisions and TOs and centers his role as a PG/creator/facilitator (1st), drive to rim&transition (2nd), with a decent defense (3rd). I hope he has enough left in him for that - and that he'll accept that kind of a role (he did well in Clips when doing just that).

Yep. It's a bizarre and sad story. Calvin Booth is an idiot puppet scapegoat. The only reason he's there is because he's a NOBODY that will do WHAT HE'S TOLD. And who EVERYONE will blame when it all falls apart. And THE ONE thing he's been told is to SAVE Kroenke's money. So... BB gone, KCP gone, JG gone, Reggie (that contract was such a moronic move) gone (and 3 picks with him), etc etc... How many picks he'll waste to get rid of Zekes contract (and that one is a monster idiocy) is anyone's guess. And Nuggets "acquired" two minimums, that NO ONE wanted. Truth be told - I like Westbrook, I always liked him - he was an incredible player. But he's a step away from retirement. Saric - Seriously, if nothing else is possible... ok... Ironically - Nuggets bench was SO BAD (worst in the league) for so long - that Westbrook and Saric might make it at least look half-decent... But that's more of a wishful thinking on my part I suspect. And I saved the best for the end... Jamal Murray... Guy that was schlepping on Jokic's back since he came to NBA - a mid-at-best guard, not worth more than $20M per season - IS NOW HOLDING JOKIC'S PRIME HOSTAGE, AND THE WHOLE NUGGETS ORG HOSTAGE (not that nuggets org didn't deserve it - it's quite fitting actually). So... question... WTF is Jokic still doing there!?!?!?!? AG and MPJ are great people. Great players and more importantly - GREAT GUYS! They don't deserve this any more than Jokic does... But eh... They are in Denver - and Denver is a shithole. Especially with Kroenke's owning it.

@@thecourtslegend Yeah. I don't like to be negative. I hate being negative. But Nuggets org is such a disappointment. In more than one way. I wanted to believe Josh Kroenke when he said "when you have the best player on the planet you have to go for it" (at the end of the season) And Booth, when he said "I'm the steward of Jokic's prime". I was hopeful and it turned out that it was just LIES. When they didn't even try to keep KCP (and got exposed/caught for "leaking" another LIE about them "matching") - I was stunned. Then pissed off. If Kroenke and Booth say that it's hot&sunny outside - I'm getting an umbrella. And the snow-shovel. Couple of years ago - Nuggets were 6th in salary spending, then they were 7th, now they're 8th... They're sliding back to oblivion. Willingly. If Jokic (and AG, MPJ) are ok with that -fine. I'm not. Picking another team to root for and hoping some of them will join there.
