The property was very clean and still looked and smelled brand new despite being 3 years old. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Could not recommend this place enough! I'd recommend booking directly on Hilton's website instead of a third party travel site as the deals tend to be better when booking through the property. Enjoy it if you're able to stay there!

It's an Ocean View Suite. It's room 345 and it's one of the best at the property.

You should definitely make the trip! This room goes for about $1,100 per night. However, we reserved it for 240,000 Marriott points for 5 nights in 2019. I have not seen it available at that rate since then. Another option is booking through Costco travel if you’re a Costco member as they typical have good packages that includes the breakfast buffet.

It can be, but you can also find great redemption deals by using rewards points. I was able to book a regular king bed room and use my Marriott platinum suite upgrade certificates to be upgraded to the Casita Suite. In essence, there are ways to avoid paying cash that keeps these amazing rooms attainable to anyone!

Thanks for the comment. I went back and forth with whether to stay at the executive suite or casita suite. However, I read reviews where the executive suites may vary in size and that some are quite smaller than others. The Casitas seem to all be the same size. You can't beat the curbside parking at the casita suites and also the ground level suites have a fire table on the patio if that's something that interests you. Be sure to request a pool view if you book it. Enjoy your trip!
