You can check out iDubbbz’s burrito video. It’s an old video of his but he compared some California burritos in his own part of Southern California at that time of his life. And you’ll learn a bit of history too on Mexican chains. But yeah, I mentioned in the previous video how there may be slight variations on toppings but gave the general ingredients that could make up a California style. Usually it’s the venue’s quality of asada that can make or break a burrito too cuz some places have just plain steak meat while others have good marinated steak. Have fun on this food adventure! But I’m smother it in green salsa and lime juice person when I have burritos. So if you like salsa, add it to it. But perfect statement on it being a drink food item cuz that is so true. I have walked to the corner spot while fried and it was the best burrito.

Depending on when you went there, they might not have had the California Burrito. I think it was created sometime in the 1980s. It's much newer than the Mission Style with the rice and beans. You might want to try The Taco Stand for a California Burrito.

I personally love to put fries on my burger. Not every time but at times. And I also love guacamole burgers. I personally don’t know about adding fries to a whack a mole burger tho. But that special mayo sounds good at add to it at least. So I could almost get behind this. The only thing that throws me off about this is adding “cheese sauce” over just sliced cheese. I feel that may be the only off thing about this. Cuz cheese sauce can have a weird flavor at times. Like everyone else said, surprised you never had a California burrito. Even for being in California lmao. I love them over the usual standard of meat, beans, rice.

Interesting way to use the french frys as a filler on a sub par burger. Looks like theres no side frys with the hambuger another way to short change the customer! Thank you Knotts I wont renew next year!

California burritos come with fries in them. This is not a carne asada style burrito. California burritos have fries and guacamole in them. Sounds like you've never heard of a California burrito though which is why you seem confused about this.

At least it's not a mac and cheese burger! The California style burrito are pretty good! I usually get one from Albertos Mexican food. ✌

Just an FYI - California Style for a burrito means it has fries in it. Started down in San Diego. Cheese and guacamole is also standard. No beans or rice. It really should have Carne Asada, but that would up the price too much. Maybe just use the spices for Carne Asada on the patty. It was one of the messier burgers I've had lately. Looking forward to seeing what you had at Angel Stadium.

My dad went to a day game on June 26th. He always sits in the 600 section. Since it was a hot summer day, there were not a lot of people at the railing like there usually are for night games. He went down to the railing and asked an usher who to ask for a baseball. The usher pointed out the bullpen coach, so my dad went over to the area of railing by where the bullpen coach was and asked if he could have a ball. He reached up and handed my dad a ball. I was not with my dad for this, but I did get to hold the baseball after my dad got home.

I just GOTTA get me some of those cookies! Mannn! Such a great area to check out the game! Yay for Eva! Woohooo🥳
