Why are you jumping around making noise with your kid in the palace? Do you have zero regard for others trying to enjoy the experience? People pay a lot of money to travel. Please respect others and teach your kids to do the same. Not to mention, this is a temple. To some it's a sacred space, not a playground.

@KoreaWithKids4 ай бұрын
If you mean the jumping at 0:30, that wasn't a palace or a temple. It's a "theme park" (put that in quotations because it didn't really seem very theme-parky to me, but that's what they call it). And that was my Korean friend's daughter (who lives in Pohang) jumping with him, so I figured she knew what she was doing.

Thank you for recording your visit to Ullengdo! When my wife and I taught English in Seoul, we wanted to visit but didn't end up going. Hopefully we'll get another chance in the future some time, but at least we can see what we missed from your video!

What a nice video. Do you speak Korean so well, or did you get someone to translate it? Your kids are so lucky. Going to Ulleungdo for the second time at Chusseok.

Anna had some videos on her channel (don't see them there now) that showed other family living in the hanok, so I think they stopped doing the guesthouse thing. I just emailed her to ask.

Thank you for the video, this is what I was looking for. Do you think two full days around Haeinsa temple are ok or is it too much ? I read there are other small temples around and also tracks to see the beautiful natural surroundings.. or you think that a one-day trip is enough ? Thank you in advance
@KoreaWithKids Жыл бұрын
I know they've had a temple stay program in the past-- don't know if that's currently available, but it sound like a very cool experience. There are hermitages and hiking trails but I can't tell you much about them. You could contact Dale who runs the "Dale's Korean Temple Adventures" website. He probably knows more about it than I do!

Liked #207. 한국어 잘하시네요. Nice video of the Dongdaemun area of the Seoul. Great thorough research on the facts from the Market, up the Seoul City Wall trail....I didn't ser the Naksan Park during your wall trailing up the hill/mountain. I was there about 4 weeks ago from the south entrance of the Seoul City Wall trail from Dondaemun to the Nalsan Park peak. Breathtaking view! You guys did a lot for the final day event. Watched the full video, liked button and comment in appreciation to support the right way, happy to support your channel 😊 Lets stay in touch to help each other grow. Liked #10k+ I like this foreign perspective of Korean culture video and their takes on the experiences! I like the fact you and your family decided to have more local restaurant cuisine instead of trendy upper class dining experiences to get more traditional feel to it. Nice to see that you have your kids to open their horizons to experience other cultures in the process! Nice touch of ysing traditional Korean folk flute music incorporated into part of the video. Love the snippets of fun parts in your 24 days experiences. From the looks of it you went to other places then Seoul, kudos to you for explorung beyond the capital. Are you planning to go back? I would assume you might because of tour user name for the youtube. 😊plus looks like you had lot of fun! What made you decide to choose Korea? I hope we can go back again! The kids are 17 and 13 now so things are changing quickly! I'm sure they would both enjoy it, though. I originally went to Korea as a missionary way back in 1992, and minored in Korean in college, and then my husband and I went over together and taught English right after we got married. We'd been wanting to go back for a long time!

@@KoreaWithKids You have a fantastic story to tell of your life achievements and experiences! Having experienced 2 different cultures certain broaden your horizon. It's quite interesting you minored in Korean of all languages. I did not think American universities would offer that. It is usually Spanish, French, Italian or maybe even Japanese, certainly not Korean. I live in New York and there are good amount of Korean communities but in college, no courses in Korean language. I am wondering if you are from California. Korea has changed so fast from when I was there in "88 '12 and '19. Anyway...you got a wonderful story. Happy to support your channel 😊
