I’m glad this worked for others, but after following links to purchase the recommended products, this did not work for me. I spent hours stripping, testing and making connections for all the wires. The signals were often not consistent - I think the coupler may have just been too finicky. I know its housing is too small to contain all the wires without pinching and possibly pulling them out of a secure connection. In the end, the television did not detect the plugged in repaired hdmi - yes, I tested that the hdmi connections on my devices worked with an hdmi cable known to work.

In case it may help others who did not have success with this method, I ended up successfully making the repair following a tutorial posted by Techgooch connecting wires from the broken hdmi to wires from a plug cut off another hdmi cable using gel-filled telephone wire splice connectors instead of the solderless adapter. Other steps were the same.

I feel dumb for asking this, but not sure if I can add the softener inside the middle part where there is a lid... they usually are open.. HELP PLEASE!

Yes, there's a dispenser on top of the agitator (middle part). There should be something about "fabric softener" printed on that part. However, fabric softener is terrible for the machine. I would avoid using it.

Thank you! I purchased two replacement lock switches bc my locking mechanism part broke off, I definitely didn't get mad and aggressively try to pull the lid mid wash 😅. But I have been having to manually click the switch, one the second replacement locking mechanism installed for 3 weeks now. I was going to buy a new control board bc I just didnt understood why everything worked perfectly but there was a disconnect with the signals. I am going to try this! Fingers crossed. Thank you for the video.

10year Christmas.. great video.. I have a bigger problem which one end HDMI to a victron touch 70 screen. Only one end that is HDMI and have a broken HDMI END. Is there a way to fix one end ?

Hello Daniel - you'd have to cut the connection to stop the beeper from working. You may be able to solder it back on later if you wanted to connect it again.

I learned that installing a new pump puts the machine in "flood mode". The pump runs for a while after the washer is plugged back in. I checked it after about 20 minutes. After that it's ready to use like before.

Thank you immensely!!! I thought we were going to have to buy a new washer! I just did this after watching your video & we have been having this problem about a month. It was driving me insane! I did this & it now spins & doesn't shut off in the middle of a cycle! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! To shut off the loud repeating beeping noise of microwave oven ( Kitchen-Aid) , keep pressing the "2" button for 5 seconds (until you see GOOD displayed on the screen) . Worked for me !

Hello - the microwave shown is a Frigidaire. There's no known way to stop the beeping via the keypad. Thank you for the comment.

Changed capacitor which was the issue last year, not the problem so looked for videos. Found several. Used tester on all parts and ran diagnostic and reset. I am trashing the same washer and bought a different one. Over it. All the comments on videos say the GE washer is trash.

My apartment has the same wash and it is utter trash. Always breaks again eventually and have to reset it again which means there is nothing wrong with the washer itself.

Is it normal in the older model I just bought it to have water no inside the drum but when I spin it. It’s not draining my clothes properly and Lowe’s has the 48 hours return policy. Hasn’t even been a month since purchased :(

Hello. Did you buy it new? If so, I would call GE because it's still under warranty. If not, the two most common problems are the lid switch (easily replaced) or software upgrade (you have to buy a GE module for this).
