Definitamente este diseño es mejor, más detallado. De igual forma no veo nada de malo en que se parescan. De todas formas hay que considerar que es un tipo de juego done las mecanicas no van a ser infinitas, le queda bien a SMITE un personaje asi. Lo del cabello posiblemente sea una libertad creativa que se tomaron, segun dicen en la precentacón del personaje en la pagina, se buscaba retratar a un caballero negro. Seguramente escojieron ese color para hacer un contraste entre los colores más oscuros del resto del personaje.

Think it might be too late on a model change , but literally like old hecate, the abilities might have a kit flow in mind but doesn’t differentiate between other already existing gods .

Because of the type of game SMITE is, as players we have to understand that the mechanics are not infinite. We have to value the mixes of similar skills. I really don't see anything wrong with it. With 131 gods in Smite 1 and more Hecate, you can't expect them to make a completely new character that has never been seen before. It's a matter of seeing the good and commenting on the negative with coherence and proposing appropriate changes (saying that she has a more interesting ult doesn't really add anything). As for the look, it's really good. It has good details, the swords each have their own identity, the armor is great with the crack and the red tones give a good impression to her concept and powers.

They didn't make it worse, they lowered some features in favor of gameplay, meaning that the player actions look better. That's very different from making it worse. Then, it's an Alpha, the game officially comes out next year where it will definitely look better. Just compare the beginnings of SMITE with what it is now and its graphical evolution over the years. I expect good things.

Maybe because the person recording the game isn't using settings anywhere close to max. I play with everything on max and the game looks like a whole another thing watching this video. The textures are very low, the light is weird, also the models seems less detailed compared to when I play. It's funny how I hardly see someone recording the game with max settings on youtube. I'm guessing the settings are on medium to low in some options.

@@LikeADerp99 Yeah he does seem mostly ability based but... He seems weird to me he doesn't have a lot of CC and has no escape. His only sustain is from auto attacks. Seems like very unsafe character I believe building a lot of attack speed may be ideal because thats where most of his sustain comes from.
