Any dog over the age of 8 should be on supplements especially if they have any underlying health issues and take regular medication. Krill oil (best firm of Omega 3 for joints) and B12 to keep myelin sheath in tact (nerve coating). Natural forms of antibacterial for dogs are Coconut oil added to rice and wild Oregano oil that can be added to their water and only 1 drop per bowl of water once a week will keep oral bacteria at bay.

i have boxers. male 1.75 y female 9 mo. i belireve she went into her first heat though more by her behavior than physical. she took off panties but will keep figuring out how to keep on. they dont always bleed per the vet. she had minor physical symptoms. watch your females too. she jumped out my window. it didnt have a screen but i had them separated. i have 5 acres - she was in a contained yard. i watch them since im home but it surprised me when she did that. had many boxers in past but only one litter. .i dont want to breed her for a few years. thx for video.

I have a male I’m going to do breeding with after I get him CKC registered and my female is AKC after that I’m going to keep mixing in AKC purebred’s. Do you think this is worth it? He’s a Merle with a very thick and flush coat but I couldn’t find anything like him in the AKC (most breeders don’t do Merle because it’s so hard to maintain) I know he can’t register but I wonder if it’s worth it to in the future register his 5x great grandchildren

Hello, I just found your channel! I have a 10 yr old 5-6 pd Toy Poodle with high liver enzymes due to taking anti seizure medications she also had one pancreatitis episode and I am looking for a Veterinary Nutritionist recommended home cooked recipe for this conditions. She sees a neurologist and also her veterinary regularly - who have never recommended home cooked food. We have given her the veterinary prescription diet dry food prescribed. She won’t eat it anymore. PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU!

When feeding a homemade diet, shouldn’t there be a nutritional vitamin added to such? Isn’t it important that they get these nutrients for good health as well?

My Ellie is 1yr 10 months has a liver enzyme of 220 up from 190 6 months ago. I just started to give her 100 ml a day per veterinary. She is a Chorkie ( yorkshire / Chihuahua and weighs 16 lbs. She needs to loose weight. I have fed all three of my dogs, small, medium and large breeds homemade food and a little kibble. The vet told me that Ellie needed to be on a low protein diet and I am completely at a loss how to do that. I was told to do Hill science diet canned food and I read the ingredients and that was an absolute NO. SO I WOULD BE GRATEFUL if you would recommend a recipe.

oddly enough my dog is neutered and gets along well with intact males. a lot of it was training and teaching him what was and was not acceptable when meeting other dogs.

i use discernment before entering but i dont go often. im grateful that where I live the city does very well with the upkeep of their parks especially the dog parks. if there is a huge size difference, owners not paying attention, kids are there, my dog sees a dog he doesn't seem to like, dogs being too out of control then I jus dont go in and leave if im already in the park. im glad though that not many people go there though making it a great place for an owner and their dog(s) to play off leash and do recall training.

i lucked out so far with my free to a good home puppy. i got him at 8 weeks old and I had a senior labrador at the time. she was very good at teaching him how to be a well behaved dog. I also had a friend whose pit had given birth the same day my pup was born so they played with him a lot. I was also a rover sitter so after he was cleared by the vet I restarted boarding at my house. a lot of those dogs also helped my now 4yr old dog. heck one of his best friends is a large intact male pit.
