I like to think Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Wario all represent different sides of the Paper Mario fandom: -Wario represents the vocal minority that does not share the same opinion on which is the best and worst game in the series as the rest of the fandom. -Toad is a strawman interpretation of the "groupthink" fans that blow majority opinions way out of proportion, and jump on popularity bandwagons whenever possible, and shame those that don't. -Mario is a more down-to-earth loyal "OG" fan that naurally agrees with the majority opinion out of personal preference but doesn't try to be as rude about it as Toad. -Luigi is a more casual fan that does not have strong opinions about either side of the fandom, and just tries to enjoy the games in his own way.

Toad hates origami king because because King Olly (antagonist) is racist to the toads (im not kidding) And surprised he used Origami King where Sticker Star is a better example of a bad game (the only good thing about Sticker Star is the music. Everything else in Sticker Star is the worst the Paper Mario series has to offer) Edit. I just realized Wario praises Origami King and that's why Toad used that instead of Sticker Star... still tho Sticker Star is the worst

Notice how the TTYD defender is portrayed as an aggressive, shrill contrarian that's flying off the handle after being disagreed with, and this SPM/OK defender is coming across as mostly passive, getting aggravated after being cut off multiple times and having words put into his mouth.

Super Paper Mario does have the best story, so Wario liking that over TTYD because of story is acceptable.
