Hello, I saw your you tube video and I live in Troutdale OR. My question is where do you get your plants? We bought a new house last year and it’s a big space to fill with plants and I’m a little overwhelmed with trying to fill it up with plants. The cost really. I have tried starting from seeds to make things more economical but my seeds keep dying. I’m just curious if you have any recommendations for quick growing plants as well as ideas for inexpensive plants. Gracias.

Thanks...more videos perhaps in a month or so. Yes we do all the planting and planning...do hire local labor to help as some of the tasks are becoming a bit daunting for my 82 year old body.

What an amazing garden/yard you have. I enjoyed this video. Everything is beautiful. I saw no weeds in your pathways, can you tell me how you keep them weed free? mine are very hard to maintain. I also really love your new kitchen and fence. Love all the yard artwork also deezie

Thank you so much. We have a product that is administered as sand like then when watered it hardens .... this helps with weeds....but the reality is that as I walk around daily and spot them...I pull them up.

You have an interesting garden area, with slopes & steps & different level. I had a garden like that 17 years ago, & loved it. You can do so much in a garden like yours, with 'secret' areas that are suddenly discovered, such as the stone steps up to the back of the garage area, I think it was. I live in New Zealand, so we are now in winter, but still able to plant roses & some other things, as no snow in the area I live in. I enjoyed touring around your garden. Now subscribed, & hope to see another garden tour soon. Love your remodeled kitchen too.

Thank you...we certainly have enjoyed our different "rooms" and discoveries as you go around one corner and see a whole new area. We have very little snow here as well in the winter....perhaps we are in a similar growing area. Thank you for your interest. We will perhaps do another tour when the Asiatic lillys start to bloom.
