Go to TMBRA’s home page and check schedule - has a good chunk of the biggest races. Other ones to look at: Austin Rattler, The Dragon Slayer, and The El Paso Puzzler - those three are on our wish list this year.

Definitely - would suggest hitting it on a dry day though!
@davidsilvas94413 күн бұрын
A drier day for sure. Some moisture in the soil is good there. It's an up-and-down, punchy climb/decent type of riding. While any bike but a hardtail will be fun, the longer travel trail bike is better. There are some techy, but short descents (Thor, for example) . There are a few jump lines like Arizona and Weber Run.

@PTR-MTB20 күн бұрын
All good and thanks for the comment - It was definitely epic for us - I’m sure routine for many! Was longest bike ride we’ve ever done and was really cool linking all of the parks we normally ride in without having to drive there. We do feel bad that we infringed on some folks privacy by riding through a trail that was owned by an HOA. We will find a better route through that isn’t so disruptive.
@bob.bishop22 күн бұрын
No Trespassing: You ignored the Fall Creek HOA no trespassing sign (20:01). We have that sign to ensure our neighborhood's privacy and mitigate liability for trespassers who could be hurt. You had an accident on our property. One trespasser broke his hip on our greenbelt, and 911 had to be called. Please respect private property! We will be gating the easement shortly.
@PTR-MTB22 күн бұрын
We will remove that section of the video to limit visibility and I apologize for missing the no trespassing signs. Definitely not looking to infringe on privacy or liability.

Sketch trail sections after stone oak to mud creek etc … best to just go to Eisenhower trail head , NW military 1604 or McAllister and stay on Salado to Leon valley and stay on the Howard Peak trail system all paved …

If you are ever in the vicinity of Babcock, between Camp Bullis Rd and Kyle Seale Pkwy, there is a pretty chunk descent. 29.613676,-98.634496. Plug in those coordinates on Google Map and do a street view. I used to ride these trails in the 1990s when nothing was out there. Would follow the power lines until we hit what would become Government Canyon. (To the rancher west of Helotes, whose property we trespassed, I just want to say I'm sorry. But in fairness YOU did take a couple shots at us. A buddy took some bird shot in the back of his calf.) 😂😂😂
@PTR-MTBАй бұрын
I’d say ah.. the good old days - but I never took buck shot in the calf! Will definitely try checking that out! (The trail that is, not the buck shot)
