Damn you traxxas, and all your proprietary bullshit!!!! It could've just been a normal plug in the side of the damn esc. But NOOOOOOOOO! Here comes ol' traxxas like "thou shalt not use any other brand with our brand!" 🤦🏾‍♂

Do just regular driving and the Traxxas hoss steal ones break in the same place all the time and they are overpriced as Traxxas is upon further inspection they are pot metal junk and far from true steal drive shafts

The Gmp drive shaft should not brake like that.. Are you just pull the throttle fast?.. Off the start you need to ease into the throttle.. Like for real..

The 2085x with the heavier spring. But what makes it turn nicely is putting the rear hubs on opposite sides. It faces the tires outwards and helps to swing the back end.

I got sand inside my on off button and locked in on mode and had to rip the power button off and now i use an allen wrench to turn off! Nice vid bro!, i thought of doing the same then an other thought came to mind, if i drill a hold any hold that will weaken the arm even a slight bit, so when mine have popped out from a bad landing, i decided to go with the trusty glue method lol. Works tho, never had any of my ball joins back out. Keep up the great work, props.

Dude . It's guys like you that think outside the box. Most people would just buy new stock arms or upgrade to aluminum (which bend from a bad hit), but you came up with this... which will save everyone a lot of money....great friggin idea pal. Keep em coming

Gear mesh is to tight...
@backyardbashing6136
@backyardbashing6136 3 жыл бұрын
It might sound too tight but you are judging from a video. I am able to actually test it so just because you say it doesn’t mean you’re right. I don’t have any problems binding or heating up. And it rolls just fine. If I run the mesh any looser I break teeth off even steel spur gears. So “Gear mesh is not TOO tight……………”

Yeah I have the aluminum chassis brace, Savox servos, and steel center driveshafts. I have had a lot of things break on mine too. I drive it easy now and don’t get it out much. But I got a Maxx and beat the snot out of that thing with very few problems. Plus the X-Maxx but I have a lot of upgrades to make that more durable.

I was having the same issue and ended up drilling out the threads in the A arms and installing M5 helicoils. Then I wrapped the pivot ball threads with some Teflon tape to prevent them from backing out. It works well.
