does the mechanism not work if you don't have ammo and/or co2 in it? i was only able to get the gun and have to wait til next week to get the BBs and co2 cartridges because I didn't have enough money and I tried dry firing it and it doesn't work the way it does in this video the slide just gets stuck back and then I have to make it go forward manually and then after I pull the trigger once it un-cocks itself

I like the SNR 357. Regardless I may still buy another one of these just to put in the collection it's the same thing as the old crosman 357 in my opinion. Except on the old one you good swap from the 4 inch barrel to the 7-inch barrel the new vigilante model doesn't seem to allow you to swap barrels at all. I guess that's for us Canadians not being able to swap barrels and get a little bit more power and up our feet per second a bit😂

The revolver has the capacity to change the type of ammo by changing out the cylinder. I don't know if the hard body would make it pellet only.

I love co2 powered semi auto and fully auto hand guns and pistols and revolvers especially my replica of a glock 20 os a beast of a pellet gun chambered in .177 unfortunately but not a bad thing cause the fps is faster then 22 or bigger pellets. They are great for practicing quick draws and also going through the house where you love at night in the pitch black dark with no lights on besides the flashlight and laser on my glock 20 replica co2 pellet gun and i go aaround the house hitting targets that are made to look like a hosstage situation or one is labled as good guy and kne is labeld as bad guy and shoot the targets as i go through the house. And mr and my wife and two kids practice with airsoft guns a break in situation and i pretend to be the bad guy and while they are asleep i will wake up quietly go out side and then vlimb through a unlocked window after i rattle the door knobs a gew times and then break in and my two kids and wife go to the safe room aka bedroom and lock down and call me like they prettend to call 911 and my wife is armed and its all planned withe my wife but kids dont know of its real or a drill cause we dont tell them sometimes like twice a year we dont tell them so we dont scare them everytime. And sometimes we will do practice drills just me and my wife where she has to defend herself against me a threat that just broke in and was able to get to her before she got into the little safe room that is built into our closest its basically and built in safe thats a metal box with dry wall around it to look like its just a wall but in reality its a safe room and a safe for my guns and gold and money ect and has computer screens and computer and landline phone in thoer to watch cameras during a break in and able to call police caude cell phones don't get service at all on the safe room

I don’t know what ammo you use but use the pellets over bbs because since bbs are made of steel they will corrode the rifling in the barrel making pellets less accurate
@dambroangling2828 Жыл бұрын
Not a bad point to consider
@irocitZ5 ай бұрын
I think you can only use pellets with the Crossman 357, if I'm not mistaken the inner barrel is aluminum which shouldn't corrode. If it does, slide it out and clean it if needed.

When my dad was a kid there were CO2 guns with screw together cylinders for putting dry ice into. Makes more pressure than reg. cylinder. You could make your own "in the shop".
@billbush-t5x Жыл бұрын
Had a similar gun 30 years ago, I put a rubber band behind the hammer across the cyl. front and almost doubled the power with harder valve hits and more duration.
@kalebfarand8294 Жыл бұрын
The problem now is the harder the hammer hits does not matter because it’s a half a millisecond interval of co2 being shot out every single time making and modification to the hammer useless
@billbush-t5x Жыл бұрын
@@kalebfarand8294 Must be some mods in the newer ones my 1991 model crosman pistol has big power gains. same with my 766 classic, with a stronger bolt spring it would completely empty with 20 pumps worth of air.

Is it strong enough to take down small game?
@MegaMarkitos99 Жыл бұрын
Yeah. Anything more than a squirrel or chipmunk I wouldn’t tho. It’s close to if not the most powerful air gun pistol, but even then only maxing like 500fps when broken in. If you do go hunting rabbits or something Better be a good shot cause you might need to lay down two more rounds to finish the job. IMO I’d only use any air gun (700fps+) for hunting anything but that’s just me. I’ve seen my cousin shoot geese and shit as a kid with his old daisy and they would just be in pain after and I’d always go finish the job myself but yeah basically only go for small small game w this guy as to not leave them in serious pain. The glock, beretta, sig air pistols forget it don’t even try they’re only 300-400fps
