I read an interesting understanding of Sabbath: that it requires the observer to set aside their works in order to worship God, therefore repetitiously preventing accomplishments from becoming gods because even they too subside.

Even though you're seeking some kind of a reaction, the point of this video is that idolatry happens when we elevate anything-even good things-above God. Whether or not you believe in God, I hope the message encourages reflection on where we place our trust and devotion.

Thank you for your post, im having problem about anger. Im a very patient and kind and polite person but i got the sin of anger ever since i suddnely had enough of my brother attitude and mindset in life. He have anger management issues and disrespect anyone and dontcare if he's the one who is wrong all the time he will throw things, scream, curse/cuss, or even hurt others if he's mad. He's not even sorry for things he do but instead he just feel proud and happy whenever he feel inferior to anyone in anyway possible even if its wrong. How can i forgive someone and not get mad at them if they don't want to change and instead feels proud of what they are. How can i forgive him if he's making fun of me seeing i forgive him all the time. I just feel anger towards him. I want to follow my lord, but i feel stuck at my anger problem right now. What should i do? How can i forgive someone that don't even feel sorry to what they do even if you reason with them, and teach them why what they are doing is wrong?

@@marijirehdearmas Thank you for sharing your struggle so openly. It sounds like you’re dealing with a lot, and it’s completely understandable to feel anger in such difficult situations. But remember, God is bigger than the hurt, anger, and frustration you’re facing. Even when others don’t change, He can give you the strength and peace to rise above it. Forgiveness in the Bible is not about excusing someone’s behavior or pretending the hurt never happened. Rather, it’s a deliberate act of love, mercy, and grace-a decision to not hold something against another person, even if they don’t deserve it. Just as God has graciously forgiven us through Christ, we are called to extend that same grace to others (Ephesians 4:32). Philippians 4:7 reminds us that ‘the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.’ And Psalm 34:18 says, ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’ God’s forgiveness toward us becomes the measure of how we forgive others, not because they deserve it, but because we have experienced His grace firsthand. Let me encourage you to keep leaning on God for strength, and trust that He is working in your heart and your brother’s, even if it isn’t visible right now. Praying for you to find peace and for your brother’s heart to soften.

Baal is the Jewish God with the Jewish star symbol. Ie: Jews are not of true God but of false god as is the Star of David symbol which only is represented in icon for Baal.
@AustinWDuncan19 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing your perspective. However, it’s important to clarify that Baal is not the God of Israel. Baal was an ancient Canaanite-Phoenician god of fertility and rain, and the Bible consistently refers to Baal as a false god. It’s actually kind of ironic that this comment was made on this particular video, as the section I was reading-1 Kings 18:27-29-shows directly that Baal is not the God of Israel. In this passage, Elijah is mocking the prophets of Baal as they cry out to Baal (the false god) who did not answer, because he can’t. Later in the chapter, we see God’s power demonstrated when He answers Elijah with fire (1 Kings 18:24-39), proving that the God of Israel is the one true God. And while the Star of David holds historical and cultural significance in Judaism, symbols can take on different meanings over time. However, the focus of this video and my ministry is on God’s truth as revealed through His Word and actions, not on symbols. I encourage everyone to seek God through Scripture, where we can find His ultimate truth, wisdom, and guidance for our lives.
