Hi!! I’ve recorded a very pretty improvisation in my Yamaha Clavinova piano and I’m trying to figure out how to transfer this recording from my piano to the computer (MacBook). Please help SOS 🆘🎹🙏🏻💐
@PianoMarvel2 ай бұрын
You can transfer it in three ways. 1) As a MIDI file with a thumb drive 2) As a WAV audio file with a thumb drive 3) As an WAV audio file via an audio software as an input. I recommend putting a thumb drive in kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGS9m56Ke8uLjdk

I understand that this is more difficult than expected. Have you had any breakthroughs yet, or have you given up on making it work with acoustic pianos?

There is some progress that we are making. We are finishing with a bug that was causing a crash when the app goes to sleep or when you get a phone call. These were both in our way to finishing the microphone assessment. They are out of the way and we have 3 improvements that will take a month. At that point, we intend to release it to Test Flight for our beta testers. Let me know if you would like to be a beta tester. Otherwise it should be out to the public this summer, along with the Android app.

I love seeing them play together! My eyes kept flitting back and forth from one set of hands to the screen, to the other set of hands, it made me feel like I was inside the song! So fun!!

Good! But way too much sustain pedal. If you decide to play this piece with pedal (which is not required), then make sure you keep the voices and harmonies always fully separated, which means you cannot use the pedal at all for most of the time. Note that this is *not* a classical or romantic piece that was composed to be played with the pedal down most of the time...

Nice work, I enjoyed the attention to dynamic contrast. You might consider easing up on the sustain pedal though. As it is, the lines are quite blurred, and we miss the interplay of the counterpoint.

I find this type of teaching disturbing. why is the teacher even there if the app is doing all the work. this kid will be able to sight read like a robot in no time! After several years you can sound like a midi piano roll!
@aarongarner580 Жыл бұрын
I have found that nor to be the case. It seems much easier to teach musicality once they have gone through the mechanics. You should try it out with some of your students and see how it does. It's awesome and getting better all the time.

Is there a type of account for multiple users? I want to learn piano but I also have 4 little ones... it's hard to pay 5 different accounts and if I only get one, it's hard to keep track of their progress individually. Any suggestions?

There are plans to do a family discount right in the app. We obviously work with schools and universities and large piano studios with different rates. To get those rates you email [email protected]. You can also go to the store here: musicmarvel.com/gift-cards/

Why is your zoom screen so clear?
@aarongarner580 Жыл бұрын
It's probably because Zoom made a decision to give less bandwidth, because it is not as clear now as it used to be.

Hi Aaron! It's been a few years since you posted this video, but I'm hoping you'll be able to answer this question. I previously used Zoom, which worked flawlessly on my end. However my student is located on a military base overseas and the application won't work for her anymore. I've used Skype 2x's and everything is functional...EXCEPT...the video is MIRRORED and presents a humongous problem for instruction. How do I UN-MIRROR the video? I've searched the application over and over but don't see advanced video setting with that option. You seem to have figured it out...Thanks!

I am sorry, I have not seen that before and I don't know how to flip the view in Skype.

You learned and memorized so many pieces! That is impressive. These will be great memories to come back and watch for all of you. This one seemed a little less fun for all of you, and the viewer will have a more enjoyable experience depending on how much you enjoy playing.

Great job memorizing all of that. Fun group ensemble and high energy. I like the moving cinematography. Seems like it could be a little more polished if more time was given in perfecting the notes and playing in sync.
