Is this not just the same as the bag that is invariably supplied with most harness kits that gets left at the admin point. Why would you allow something that is potentially going to save your life to become tangled in knots as your 'bad example'. What if you need something from the bag whilst your harness is on?
@Kratossafety
@Kratossafety 2 ай бұрын
This has nothing compared to the protective bags supplied with harnesses. It's a real backpack with lots of storage compartments. As you pointed out, the aim of the video in this case is to show both a good and a bad example, and above all to demonstrate the practical side of ADVENTURE, in particular when it comes to transporting equipment and deploying the harness quickly. When the harness is deployed, it means you're going to be working at height, so your equipment must be attached to your tool holders on the harness to avoid injuring anyone in the event of a falling object.

75 kg for the fall guy and, yes, the impact force is measured at the anchor point.

@Kratossafety
@Kratossafety 6 ай бұрын

Try being 120 kgs and in any harness. Whilst doing my working at height training we had a trauma surgeon who came to talk to us. We were weighed and he calculated the figures for each of us. Mine were 3,5,7 & 10. 3 being unconscious, 5 being formation of blood clots, 7 possible brain damage and 10 was fatal. The bigger you are the less time you have in a harness. His advice to us all was once over 90 kgs do not be a line worker in a harness. You probably won't get out alive. It all can be checked by looking up "hanging harness syndrome"

@Kratossafety
@Kratossafety 3 жыл бұрын
Bonjour, Excellente remarque !

how to know if the door is enough strong?
@Kratossafety
@Kratossafety 8 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. The breaking strength of the door frame has to be determined by the person in charge of the security of the installation. It should be at least 12 kN for a single user and 13 kN for two users, in the direction of use of the anchorage.
