May seem a little draconian, but I like how in these versions of the stories it takes a while to get back in Sir Topham's good graces instead of the revolving door way it's usually portrayed in. Gordon's been on goods and secondary work for many weeks, and we get to see how his character improves as he learns being useful and helping is as satisfying as being the top link engine. Liked the work montage in the yard, the engines watching the crews playing chess in the slow moments between jobs was a nice touch.
