What rear tires are those, and how do you like them?
@jongeddes09Ай бұрын
They're the factory rear tires off of a Polaris Sportsman. I'm very impressed by them. They're a low pressure tire so they offer a lot of flotation over the ground.

Can you do a video of the hydraulic levers in action? The one closest to the machine. I just picked up a 1978 316K. Runs great just needs a little bit of love. It's going to be a long term partner on my property I'm going to get it running great and all ready for this spring.

I'll see what I can do. That one runs to the remotes up front so I'll have to find something to connect to them.

Thank you! I'm really split on what I want to do about that. Part of me would love a machine that looks brand new but the other part of me really likes the unique wear pattern of 45 years of use. I haven't come up with a definitive answer yet.

I had a 314 kohler like 3 years ago, great machine even though it was rough Sold it and haven’t gotten any garden tractors until about this year, everyone I’m finding now is the two cylinder so everything I own has got an onan they run good too
@jongeddes0911 ай бұрын
I considered Onan swapping this one since I have a welder generator with a P228. I couldn't justify pulling the welder generator apart, though.

Having that PTO and that lift mechanism it's a big deal on that that's a good thing you could get a plow for that a brinley plow any attachments you can find for that by a man those things was a snowblower on them you could clear you can't imagine how much snow you can clear with one of those
@jongeddes0911 ай бұрын
I've seen a few videos of 300 and 400 series tractors with a snow blower and it looks like so much fun! We don't get enough snow where I'm at to justify one but I might try to get my hands on one of the two way adjustable snow plows.

Your scope is a second focal plane when what your wanting is a first focal plane for your reticle to zoom as well as your target.
@jongeddes09 Жыл бұрын
Correct. There are pros and cons to both, though. First focal plane scopes tend to have harder to see reticles at lower zoom levels. I think this scope is a good compromise because you get the easy to see mil dots at low zoom level and easy hand adjustment on the turrets for just adjusting the zero when you start to zoom in.

Yes, it's the Mini 6 Din cable from SignaLink. Make sure you install jumper wires in the proper orientation for Mini 6.

How did you swap the steering to make the tires turn the correct way? Couldn’t you just mount the rear servo upside down?
@jongeddes094 жыл бұрын
That's what I did, although it does throw off the steering geometry a bit. The best way would be to rewire the servo at the plug.

@@justinmoessinger6977 You can either disassemble them and swap wires around inside or get a premade "servo reverser" adapter that plugs in between the servo and receiver

Thumbs up great video no music finally somebody who showed the rear steer mod I didn’t think it could be done because I’ve been seeing lockout sets and I want to still have four wheel steer the only problem I see is there’s no servo saver so if it takes a hard good bye servo
@jongeddes094 жыл бұрын
The Tamiya high strength servo saver would probably work. I've found that beefing up the steering with metal gear servos, an aluminum arm, and heavy duty links has worked well.
