Repent and believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose from the grave on the 3rd day and you WILL be saved. Ask God for His Holy Spirit which will lead you into ALL truth. Much love.

I just wanted to add because I didn’t see it in the video that at the end of this relationship it was back full circle to me needing to be rescued. I was in full relapse on and off every couple days every couple weeks every couple months maybe because I couldn’t handle or process the things that I was experiencing or maybe it’s just where my comfort zone was I’m not really too sure right now but I didn’t wanna be clear that I was not a saint and at the end of it I was the one that constantly was having to be rescued.

Wow - what a fascinating video! I've never suffered from addiction, but your experience gives me new insight into the trials that addicted people must endure, e.g. being clean and sober for two years yet still being "empty on the inside"; and "My sobriety, then, was completely dependent on a group of other sober people and the _identity_ of sobriety". Your ideas around self-sabotage are especially thought-provoking - especially that bit at 4:42 where you identify 'ego' and 'thought' as your saboteurs and you have to shut them down and 'rescue' yourself from them! I wonder if these thoughts/feelings are what others have identified as the 'shadow' or 'dark side'…

Thank you yeah I’m just sharing my journey again and I’ve read a lot of Karl Young and majority of the religious text so I would say it’s probably had a lot of influence on my perception or at least give me some sort of perspective on the self. I would definitely call it the shadow for sure.

Not as easy as you put Stopping internal dialogue has been achieved a few times only in the history of mankind That’s how impossible it’s to do One can watch their breath all they want Still the real stoppage doesn’t happen Or any other technique leads to failure But you are deep and wonderful on the right road and will win eventually Heck many don’t even know internal dialogue or that they are observers They are busy dialoguing Congratulations on being a bright self knower
@createorconform10 күн бұрын
I appreciate that. I’m not saying I’ve always got the dialogue off but a couple years ago I learned to watch my breath. That’s how I was able to separate myself from the dialogue or at least realized that I wasn’t the dialogue and since then I’ve been doing numerous practices. And I do operate a few hours out of the day as the observer in the dialogue comes back and then I have to do my practices to separate from it all over again like a rent and repeat process. I hope that one day I can fully be just the observer and only acting on what my subconscious communicates to my conscious mind.

I’m saying for my experience journaling about it facing it. Head on before I went to bed working through it during workouts with way more beneficial than talking about it with anyone.

My husband and I both served in the United States Army for 20 years, both in many leadership positions and both deployed always in different companies and commands. We depend on each other. I don’t depend on my husband to take care of me…he knows I am fully capable, and I got his back if crap hits the fan, and he has my back as well if the situation presents itself. BUT, you are right….the mass majority of women in our country want a tough and amazing, successful man to take care of them. I was raised to depend on no one and I did. P.S. my man is an amazing, successful man, my battle buddy. We r a team. We r both providers for our family. That is what attracted HIM to me.

Exactly. Evolution is non-stop. The most gifted have something about them that is uniquely identifiable. However, to maintain relevance you must accept constant evolution of self. We are lifelong learners that constantly apply what was learned. Yet, are willing to fail and unlearn for the greatness of art, earnings and /or the greater good.

Here’s a hack I discovered about a decade ago if you do something physical that makes you proud and you verbally out loud talk yourself up “ boy I’m killing it, I just keep going, I can’t lose,” stuff like that. I guarantee within a month you’ll forget you ever had doubts or your fears. You’ll be so sure of yourself. Try it. What do you got to lose? 🤙🏼

Conformity builds strong societies and people. "non conformists" are simply another brand to sell nonsense products to. Part of the issue in America is LACK OF conformity and grown men trying to be the dancing queen of a prom 😉👌🇺🇸

No, my friend, the non-conformist create the art the non-conformist innovate the industries the non-conformist dismantle corrupt government. The conformist are the ones buying whatever everyone’s buying wanting to look cool wanting to have the spotlight because everybody wants to have the spotlight the non-conformist is content with not having a spotlight in values society and the principles they’re willing to live and die for conformity you won’t live and die for your principles. You’ll just move with the crowd to the next hip thing.
