Gorgeous cinematography. What a stunning place..you captured it beautifully! Re: the ethnic and religious tensions in kosovo and the rest of the balkans...these old conflicts never went away sadly. Muslims can live harmoniously with other faiths. Synagogues still exist and are left intact in the arab world and churches are in abundance..sadly it isnt reciprocated in other parts of the world. Go to Egypt if you havent already and the rest of north africa. You will how well preserved other faiths are...

Loved the video of the inside of the masjid. Beautifully painted designs and verses mashAllah! What an eye opening video. The balkans are underrated. Everyone is descending on turkiye but these places are hidden gems!

There is something very wrong about charging an entrance fee for any place of worship. Is it just the mosque or do they charge for the churches and synagogues as well. No blessings in doing this at all!
@januslog12 сағат бұрын
Yes, I was quite surprised too Shouldn’t be the case although I understand the need for renovation and upkeep

I dont know why you dont have more followers or views. Your cinematography and editing are so professional. You have valuable educational content! Not just eating food or getting a hair cut like other vloggers. This was excellent!

The Church of Saint Dimitreus is not only church in Kosovska Mitrovica, there is also one in the southern part, father Nenad will be happy to see some foreigners to come and hear some history and tragic stories from the first hand since he is from the city itself. Also st. Dimitreus is the guardian of the city and name of the city Mitrovica comes from word Dimitrovica or city guarded by st. Dimitreus and is just one of many cities with this name throughout Serbia.

The observatory will be renovated, the renovation will start in 2025. I see that your video is at least 2 years old, because in the meantime, many facades have been renovated and new, and a park for tourists will be built on the site of the observatory. In the meantime, the entire tram line has been renovated, and the new line leading to the foot of Mount Igman will be completed by August 2025. 15 new trams have been purchased, and another 10 will arrive next year. All the best my friend.

Wonderful video! I'm wondering where you're traveling now! I'm looking into traveling to France very soon and was hoping if you have any tips you could share with us about best places to stay. Hoping to spend my time there anchoring in one spot and traveling to and from there so I can see more of southern France. I will practice my French since I know it will come in useful. I've been to Paris and Normandy, so I want to try something new. Thanks for sharing with us from all over the world. - Daniel😉
@januslog5 күн бұрын
Hi Daniel It’s a bit of a budget question. A good place to stay longer and do some day trips from is Nice but it’s not cheap. Neither are some of the smaller but posh coastal towns. Toulon is a bit more budget friendly as it’s considered less of a tourist destination You may also want to consider a road trip from Nice to Marseille and possibly adding some of the amazing towns in the Provence Check out my other videos in France for more tips and please stay tuned for my current series on the Balkans and Southeast Europe👍😊

everywhere you in the balkans, people cling first to their ethnic identity then nationality. For instance you have albanians from kosovo, serbs from bosnia, greeks from albania etc. this is the results of several hundred years of living together in the territory, so it’s no wonder that you saw more Albanian flag in Kosovo that flags
@januslog5 күн бұрын
Yes, that explains it I just found it curious that country flags stand for ethnicity there since all countries in the Balkans are multiethnic
