you forgot the best part... it is almost impossible to plot a route using the roads you want.. it like to send you on wild adventures,,, and I mean WILD. you will end up going places you don't need to be, you will go up total stranger's driveways. you will be directed to travel on pull over spots. this thing will have you ride around a neighborhood just to come back on the road you were already on,,,WHY? why does it tell you to go in circles? you can use GOOGLE 'MY MAPS' to make a custom route, then import into 'BASECAMP' and create a route that way,, but it is in NO way EASY. it likes to make it's own route.
@PatsAdventuresTravels27 күн бұрын
Agreed Basecamp is terrible. I used to just make a route on google maps and then export that gpx and import it into the unit that way. All is good unless you let it recalculate then game on. Who knows where you'll end up.

Interesting little video of our town. Cool to see you drive right up East North Street where I grew up. I wish more people around here had an interest in our town's history. I find it quite fascinating. I remember the first time I realized the park I'd played in on Cherry Street as a kid was the site of an old school. Original steps are even still there on the Eliza Street side. It got me to digging around and I found that there were multiple old school sites around town now occupied by parks and newer buildings, and I found pictures of all of them as well. Also learned that my family were among the first to settle here and that we even have a family cemetery. Btw, there's a small cemetery west of town near the site of Fort McArthur that you may find interesting if you find yourself through here again. There are also a handful of Hull's Trail markers made from columns from the old courthouse. One is on 67 West. I can't think offhand where the others are. Google knows, I'm sure. Anyway, I appreciate the video and your interest in our little town. There's not much to do here anymore and it's not as tight knit as it once was, but it's a fairly peaceful existence here.

I would recommend that after detaching the negative connection from the battery you actually separate the lead from the battery or you have achieved nothing. Here you can see lead is still resting o battery connection. I usually place a square inch of insulation tape on battery negative connection so it cannot be shorted by accident.

you should be less doubtful when filming a video to show what you are doing. practice first, check tools, know your steps, be sure..etc. most of the time you say .. I don't know, I'm not sure ... well don't !!

I had just bought a K6 camera and had an issue with it turning on and off whilst riding. Innovv in China were really helpful and passed me on to the UK importer to get a replacement. Unfortunately I have had nothing but hassle trying to get a replacement from the importer and have had to quote distance selling laws to them to enable a refund. I'm extremely disappointed as it seemed a good system apart from the glitch I was having
