Hello Pat, Watched all 9 of you reviews of the Windy 9, this is how i rate the routes from best to least, having not ridden them yet, just from the video's. 3 Rocking Hills Nipper 4 Lazy River 6 Pioneer Pass 9 555 2 Southern Dip 8 Black Diamond 7 Pomeroy Dash 1 Rim of the world 5 Zaleski Zipper I'd be interested in your take, and if i may have misjudged some great miles. Thanks for your reviews and keep up the great work on the channel. I'll be there in the spring Happy New Year

Thanks! The numbers on the videos are actually just the way they are listed on the Windy 9 website. I honestly liked the Hocking Hills Nipper best where I wrecked in the Bridge. A few could be cut, but if you're in the area it was still fun.
@PatsAdventuresTravels20 күн бұрын
After thinking and looking back at the maps I agree mostly with your top 4. For me it would be Hocking Hills Nipper Pioneer Pass 555 Pomeroy Dash mainly because of the town of Pomeroy. Let me know when you'll be there maybe I can meet up and say hi and ride a bit with you.

Hi Pat, Enjoying your channel. I am planning a trip to the Windy 9 from the Boston area in the spring 2025. I am watching your reviews of the 9 routes in order so this is the 5th. Thanks for the review. Its a big shock that those pants does not have exhaust vents. I have Revit Dominator pants and was looking to buy matching jacket and thought, ok, same pants just logo is different. But no, Revit pants does have also exhaust vents so the airflow is just ok in summer but goretex pro is definitely better for colder days. Revit and now touratech clothes are a bit more heavy than Klim because of protectors. Knee protectors on my Revit pants are huge but the pants itself (without protectors) weight not much more than Klim goretex (not pro). To me it looks like that jacket is a bit too big for you, revit clothes are designed to be more snug than klim, therefore klim goretex is a bit better/wider for warmer days. I tried connecting pants to jacket and its really good option. Also when you use integrated kidney belt it kind of stabilize jacket on body and it fits best. Just my 2 cents :) Campanero Pro got more vents on jacket and pants but the price is ridiculous :)
@PatsAdventuresTravelsАй бұрын
I always get the jacket 1 size up for layering in the cold. Over all it is quality gear but I expected more. I have since bought the Klim Induction pant to go with my induction jacket! Great for those hot days! I will keep wearing my Touratech gear in the colder days for sure! Cost way too much to just get rid of lol!! Thanks for the great comment!! I really do appreciate them a lot!

I grew up about 20 minutes from Arrow Rock. The 1973 Tom Sawyer movie was filmed there. The lettered roads are county roads. The numbered roads are state roads. The traditional named gravel roads are being switched to numbered roads when 911 service coverage is adopted. I hope you enjoyed our state, and didn’t eat too much dust!

@PatsAdventuresTravels3 ай бұрын
@@DeepakCano if I remember right the yellow is the trigger wire. You would connect that to a 12v source to start the camera recording. Depending on how your bike is wired. You could hook it to the running lights. I have a can bus system in my bike that controls power so I can just hook the red and yellow together. This way it turns on and off with the key.
