@@lovek3night322 so the goal you're trying to accomplish at that part is to get the weapon mount on the tip of the Nova Wing to line up with the already placed weapons. That will attach it to the main body.

Not at all! For the most part, these are flip glitches. You can snap the piece onto a snap point (even if it doesn't fit), then flip it once, flip it back, and hit cancel. This should leave the piece where it is. I'll try to throw a video together soon (with audio) going over the various glitches I use to make these a bit easier to follow

I'll see if I can throw a video together soon (with some audio) going over the specific glitch techniques I use if that would help. It's mostly: Flip glitches: places the part (will show red) flip it, then flip it back, and hit cancel. The part should remain in place. Buddy glitches: Start by having a stack of two pieces to the side, I use deimos hull pieces, stacked on top of each other. Then select the piece you want to move plus the deimos piece (select the piece on top if you want to move your associated piece up, select the bottom if you want to move your associated piece down). Once both are selected, hit duplicate and it will create a new piece of each (deimos hull and buddy piece you selected) either one step up or down. Half step glitch: This one is a little more complex, but it involves the buddy glitch method described above. The difference is that instead of using 2 deimos hull pieces stacked on top of one another for your 'buddy' piece, you will use weapons mounted on a deimos side weapon mount. When the weapon gets duplicated onto the open weapon slot, it moves the other piece a half step up or down. This is where I use that Nova Wing/weapon plate combo to attach the glitched pieces to the hull. I'll try to catch these and a couple others in a video soon.

@@Buckethead.325 I actually did a version in the yellow - basically take that existing build and remove the HopeTech thrusters from the engines and take out the black pieces in the tail - then re-color to match. Bonus if you color the shield generator with blue/white for that R2-D2 look. Most of it is available from the outpost shipbuilder - that is the easiest way. The rest I usually fly around and slap on an existing ship (doesn't matter how it looks for the moment). Then when you get to the outpost ship builder you can delete that ship/start from scratch and all of those extra pieces you gathered are in the ship builder inventory, ready to go.
