If you not only want to explore the villages around India Pak border but also wish to stay there for a more offbeat experience then go for this 7 days itinerary that's a mix of touristy and offbeat 😊👇 Day 1: Arrive in Leh. Rest and relax to acclimatize to the high altitude. Drink plenty of water and avoid strenuous activities. Day 2: Explore Leh and surrounding places. Do remember that not all places can be and should be covered in 1 day so choose what you would like to see. Leh palace, Leh market, Shanti Stupa, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Hall of fame, Sangam, Hemis monastery, Magnetic hill and more. Day 3: Leh to Nubra valley. Start early from Leh towards Nubra Valley via the Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Visit Diskit monastery on the way to Turtuk. Day 4: Explore Turtuk Experience the cultural diversity, scenic beauty, and historical significance of the Turtuk in a more authentic and offbeat way. Do try Baltistani cuisine and apricots there. Day 5: Explore Thang and Hunder Leave from Turtuk and visit Thang, which is the last Indian village. After Thang, reach Hunder and experience a ride on double humped camels in the sand dunes there. Day 6: Hunder to Pangong Lake Start early from Hunder and reach Pangong Lake and relive the iconic scenes from the movie "3 Idiots" that were filmed at Pangong Lake. Stay here overnight. Day 7: Leave from Pangong for Leh and visit Thiksey monastery on the way. Checkout the detailed itinerary on my channel

Saffron is the most expensive spice in the world. This time I got to witness the harvest of saffron popularly known as kesar. Kesar harvesting time is only 1 month, mid October to mid November. The saffron fields blossom with beautiful purple flowers and each flower has just 3 strands of kesar. To get 1 gm of kesar, 300 such flowers need to get plucked manually, then the strands need to be dried for a day or two and then we get this beauty. Kesar is grown only in 3 parts of the world, India, Spain and Iran. Kashmiri kesar is considered to be the best one❤ As we all know, the less, the rare is always expensive, so is kesar. We had a tin of kesar in front of us that had 2kgs of kesar and costed INR. 6 lacs. What would you go for? Gold or Kesar? 😉 Follow for more. #saffron #kashmir #kesar #gold
