The truth is, no one really knows if these end pit lakes are going to work because nothing like this has ever been tried before. Sure there are end pit lakes elsewhere but not on this scale with bitumen tailings and effluent. It may be decades or even longer before we know if this is a viable solution and, by that time, the industry will be long gone.

23:15 is there actual evidence that "global warming" that happened after a giant meteorite strike was directly from CO2 ???? and not, say, THE GIANT METEOR STRIKE???

I warn the Almamater of the University of Alberta, Canada, of the mediocrity of these professionals since on April 28, 2018, these EPM work teams, including those who speak and show themselves, almost caused the greatest engineering tragedy in Colombia, the collapse of a tunnel blocked the dam, diverting the second most important river in Colombia through the powerhouse under construction, delaying the delivery of said work for more than 5 years, University of Alberta, be careful with those who make these videos, Better select what is on this university channel. #My_Takeaways -- excellent ... and well related ... super insights -- my notes -- Water Cover --- limit creation of ARD -- BAT principles not followed to date ....(prevent liquefaction.... ) .. "globally". Achieve "dry-conditions". (Greens Creek - check current conditions) (Rosemont - check stability and water presence) .. Need to measure the entire zone .. surface boundary ( evapotranspiration measurements). ECV - $80,000 - surface - fluxes ... real boundary conditions. 10% of what you would measure -- dry .. SBC - restricts evapo -- Equity Silver (WASTE ROCK) -- Tailings Easy -- Waste Rock ARD -- environmentally a no-go.... real problem. Fill the mass with Tailings --- comminging | copper cliff ... 2: i lysimeters ... 10 years to get data ... ...oosh ... | rock and filtered tailings .. | conveyors -- power and mechanical demands - consolidometer -- unsaturated loose that compacts .. Blending good .. can achieve physical and chemical stability -- but how long to operationalize ... ? and actualize .. ? ? how to get investment in New methods ... :) ME thoughts - even better monitoring of current issues, and transition states -- all have to be monitored, linked to operational and environmental compliances. ? - 1. How to get operations to move to innovations -- "Communicating, Training, Capacity (consulting) -- Extra Effort Needed."

'Nothing was living on land when algae 'ruled the world' and lived in water'?? This guy has gone to wayyyy too much school and hasn't lived enough. That did not happen -- never would or could. Microbes on land, at the least, and some forms of plant life (and other animal life, as well). I swear, 'academics' is a cul-de-sac meant to blunt people's natural sense of the world. This guy is ridiculous, imo.

@Z3nHolEminD In our world, bacteria and fungi comes from decay. Normal science peeps say that anaerobic bacteria were active on earth via sulfate or acetate before oxygen was in this atmosphere -- except, both sulfate and acetate contain oxygen molecules. I don't like the mindless, glib "billions of years" that people in different science fields talk about sometimes. They can't describe the present accurately -- let's give up the crystal-ball prognosis about what happened billions of years ago.

I need this book. I have traveled so much of Alberta and have vso many unanswered questions. Like where did Buck Lake 'mountain' come from? It stands all by itself with almost no hills near by and can be seen for miles. Why does Buck Lake North have so much sand and why is it different colors? Why is flat Lake so flat on one side? And it goes on and on from there.

Precision Scheduled Railroading (PSR) is a cost cutting scam that only benefits foreign hedge funders on Wall Street. There is nothing precise or scheduled about PSR. Much of our inflation is due to the severe cost cutting in the rail industry in the last decade. The current CEO of CP Rail is a foreigner from Alabama who is working hard to monopolize the industry. His name is Keith Creel and he was Hunter Harrison's lackey. The Transportation Safety Board in the US is taking a serious look at the PSR scam. Peter DeFazio has openly criticized PSR and the late Hunter Harrison. It's too bad that Canada's government is too cowardly and corrupt to hold the rail tycoons accountable for their crimes.

The Earth is cooler with the atmos/GHGs/albedo not warmer. To perform as advertised the GHGs require “extra” energy upwelling from the surface radiating as a black body. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnvMm6ptYr56Y7c The kinetic heat transfer processes of the contiguous atmos molecules render that scenario impossible. No greenhouse effect, no GHG warming, no man/CO2 driven climate change or Gorebal warming.

19:00: "Maximum measurement about 3 cm between satellite passes." Correction if I may. That's for adjacent pixels Corey. Over an interferogram, many metres of displacement can be captured, as long as it doesn't exceed the gradient of around 3 cm from pixel to pixel.
