what if the 3rd point was making your resection worse, and due to time constraints and not requiring great accuracy you would only need to keep the first two points? How can you delete/ignore the third point? On the SCS900 is simple, you can use multiple control stations and you can only keep the ones that give you the best results.

How does the total station even know where direct NORTH is to compute that backsight azimuth of 331 deg etc???? How did you determine direct NORTH to set the total station plate at 0 deg?

Helpful. I've been thrown. TSC5 and a bunch of work and have been figuring it out on the fly. I knew punching in the linework codes everytime was not the way to go but it was working and the job needed to get done. This will be great on the next topo

Im having an issue where if I keyed in a point, for some reason, it wasn’t showing me where to go in the stakeout menu. When I go into point manager, it shows the point with the correct coordinates and elevation but in the stake out menu, it has question marks and doesn’t know where to go

Is there any way to set up TSC5 that way, that it measures stations one by one. So instead measuring STNA, then STNB, then same again, I would like to measure STNA three times, then STNB three times (basically "ABABAB" or "ABBAAB" I want it to measure 'AAABBB")?

Is there a way to add a point, for example, between point 10 and 11, so when the linework is processed, it will connect from point 10 -> new point -> point 11? I've tried 10a and 10.1 but it connects to the new point after connecting to point 16. Sometime field data comes in and the automated linestring needs an additional point between two existing points and there's no integer available between them.

For some reason when I use the connect points feature in TBC v. 5.3, It creates the linestrings as expected, and includes them in my surfaces/earthwork reports, but then removes those lines that are created and alters the surface when I come back to it after a day or so. My manually created linestrings are always saved, just not the ones with connect points. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is TBC just bugged?
