Snow in April. That is very strange

A similar thing happened to me regarding heavy snow in 2021, I arrived at work late morning, all was dry albeit cold. About an hour into my shift it started to snow and within about 3 hours the whole area had deep snow. I abandoned my shift at work and headed home, a journey that usually took about an hour actually took almost 3 hours 30.

Well.....! Looks like you guys got some of that White Stuff up there, finally! I've been waiting to see y'all get Snow up that way, for the past couple of years, but it doesn't appear that you've gotten much. Maybe a bit, here and there. However, this year, both here where I live, and there, where you live, have had somewhat of a turnaround, in the ol' Snow department. How much Snow have you had, so far this Winter? What's amazing, is the fact that, within one day of your Snowfall, we had Snow here, where I live! We had somewhere between 6-7 inches come through this past Sunday Night/Monday Morning timeframe, capped off with probably about a tenth of an inch of a mix of Sleet, and Freezing Rain. Then, later Monday Evening, it snowed a little bit more, perhaps 1/2-3/4 of an inch, as a weaker secondary wave of Snow came through, compliments of an Upper-Level Low Pressure System. ah good to have the year confirmed - my father was just remembering snow on his birthday 25th April, before he was in secondary school. He rembers cherry trees in flower and as he lived in a sort of dip surrounded by mainly beech woods they heard branches breaking as they were in leaf, it sounded like gunshots. I have seen a photo of him and his brother setting off for school. It came from a discussion about whether winter of 47 felt worse than winter (late 62) 63
