exactly. There's also another thing I found very crucial is to identify your true talents. Because when people do what they are really good at, it makes things so much easier, And it's more likely to succeed

Thank you for this! I love the comments about making the environment comfortable rather than changing the person. ❤ :) We have to wait years for a diagnosis in Wales, UK. I can’t imagine being able to have an assessment within one or two month. That’s amazing! :)
@Jamesguu202411 күн бұрын
I've been living in both China and Canada from what I've seen in Canada, The medical resource is very limited, It's far from enough for the public. And that's why a lot of people actually travel to China to get diagnosed and surgeries nowadays. And to be honest with you, for those who live in China, waiting for one to two months for diagnosis is considered as super super slow. But thanks to the diagnosis process improvements, More and more parents are having better understanding of these things So recently we'VE been seeing a lot of parents taking their children to get diagnosed and treated.
@alexkegie749210 күн бұрын
@ it’s a very impressive wait time. I’m just going through the process of getting assessed for ADHD. I’ve been in the waiting list for well over 2 years and I had to get through 2 triage appointments before the assessment was even agreed. Not long now though. 2 weeks left to wait. The waiting list for my autism assessment was so long that I had to go private. The issue that we have in Wales, UK is that a private assessment isn’t always accepted by the National Health Service and/or education providers.
@Jamesguu202410 күн бұрын
oh my... and how much does it cost to go private if you don't mind asking?
@alexkegie74929 күн бұрын
@@Jamesguu2024 an autism assessment is £1500-£3500, and an ADHD assessment approximately £1200.00, but then aftercare and medication will have to be paid for too, if appropriate. I had to pay £3000.00 for my daughter’s autism assessment because she was considered to be a ‘complex’ case.
@MariaG34513 күн бұрын
Great educational video. We call the blending education in America “inclusion”. The wait times for the kids to be evaluated are longer here. It’s usually done with the school and sometimes doctor. With the school it can take up to 3 months. Doctor varies probably 1 month and i’ve heard longer for a Specialist like a neurologist
@Jamesguu202412 күн бұрын
that is quite long indees. I've heard about people coming to China for surgeries in order to get earlier treatments.

One of the worst part about adhd is when your brain constantly tries to gas light into you thinking that you don't have adhd.

Hello James! I’m an American, who has had a lot of interest in learning 🇨🇳 culture, specifically when it comes to cars. I know China has a huge grip on the electric vehicle market word wide. What is the incidence of electric vehicles in China? Are there still gasoline powered vehicles, is there a mix? Or does it depend on geography? I really wish I could drive a BYD vehicle because some of the functions look futuristic. Anyways thank you!
@Jamesguu202427 күн бұрын
oh yea it's because China had lost the financial battle of past industrial revolution (referring to the internet) and it is trying to reclaim the ground. And to answer your question, it depends on where you go to, but Electric vehicles are definitely more and more popular, like if you go take a taxi in my city, Shenzhen, I can't even remember when was the last time I saw a gas vehicle. But as for public, a lot of people are worried about the safety issue because you know, the battery technology is not really that great yet as it starts fire occasionally when there is a collision. I'm driving the Xpeng in Shenzhen and I can tell you one thing, it's amazing
