I like Heidi, but I find Orville very disingenuous. The Live surprised me-I couldn’t believe the amount of positive comments regarding the changes. I’ve never seen people so excited for a pay cut. I’m really starting to question Scentsy’s ethics. Taking away our EARNED commission rate was a total bait and switch, and unfortunately, I think there’s a lot more of that to come. I expect those kind of tactics from other companies but not from one who claims to be a family built on honesty and trust.

I do feel bad if feelings get hurt. 😞 I don’t like when anyone’s feelings get hurt, no matter what side anyone falls upon. 😢 i do think they are sweet people. ❤ it was very awkward when people were saying rude things. I just don’t find it necessary to be rude and hurtful. People can express feelings without going to that level. And then you’ll always have people being rude back in defense. I wish people wouldn’t get go to that level. There’s always a kind way to express your feelings and an unkind way. It was uncomfortable with people expressing people could just leave if they don’t like it. Made me sad. 💔😔 there were definitely awkward moments. But I was excited to see all the new things! I already know all the things I want to get. I have so many decor ideas!! ❤🎉😊 but I suppose what I want to say is for people to remember to treat others how you want to be treated! Would you want someone to approach you on your platform how you are acting and visa versa! Hear someone out with compassion! You’ll always get a better result with love, compassion, grace, gentleness and humbleness! ❤ When you’re hurting, do you want to be heard or have someone say to you we’ll just leave if you don’t like it? And if someone has the courage to express something to you directly, have the courage back to just say golly I’m so sorry this all has affected you so deeply, please understand it wasn’t a direct personal attack. Sometimes managers and business owners have to make decisions overall that are for the good of their investment. It wasn’t meant to hurt you, I’m sorry it has and I hope you’ll have the patience to work through it with us. You’ll never overcome hate with more hate. ❤ I suppose people who came in after they went on their mission didn’t know Heidi and Orville like some of us. I kinda missed their passion and peaceful approach. I don’t mind and sort of enjoy the stories. It reminds me of when I began and the warm fuzzies I got. 🥰 and every new product reminds me of why I started and why I plan to stay. ❤😊 and the changes still don’t stop me from getting super excited about all the things I want to buy! 🤷🏻‍♀️

So after 3 years you show up because your business has controlled debt (whatever that means), consultants are leaving, your placing scentsy into a store at Disney World (trial run to sees how it does), lowering commissions, fake crying, and at 30 minutes into the video a dry aggressive threat is given to ppl if they say something about Scentsy. I just can’t believe after all this anyone would still sell this stuff.

I feel bad that someone sent Heidi a nasty letter or email - that is just ridiculous. I do feel they know what’s going to happen and they are slowly working towards it. They aren’t stupid at all and are definitely looking out for the money. I don’t like how Orville acted like we were all lucky they didn’t decide other options- like we should be grateful. They seem out of touch to me in this live and the crying didn’t help. In fact, it waved bigger red flags to me. If all is well- why all the crying? They really need someone else who is not a CEO or making millions on this company doing these lives. They are talking to their workers…. Who are not making more than minimum wage like he claimed- how they do not realize this is insane to me. I hope they figure it out and wish them the best. I think they are good people but they need to consider their audience with the business model they have if that’s what they want to keep.

I cracked up when you said “Hedi cried 3 times “😂 She did and every time she’s cries like at SFR, World Tour , retreats , I’m like “hurry up and let’s get down to business “ 😂 I don’t care that she cries but it holds up the process 🙄🙄🙄 Orville seemed a bit more aggressive when talking and I think it has to do with all the backlash they have received from consultants and from the anti MLM community. I think the moves they have made is to still have consultants and not move to affiliate codes. I believe they know where they’re bread and butter is 🤔🤔🤔

Everyone has to use logic and understand that the vast majority of people are not into this line of product. Members of my family actually hate it. You cannot pull customers out of a hat. If you cannot understand this you are stupid or don't understand business.

Good video, thanks for the information. When I turned it on, I saw her crying right away and I was like what the heck is going on?! Then I watched some of it and I started to get bored but I’m glad you told me what they said at the end. I just don’t know what that means though about it sucks but we will find out why later? I don’t know. I still feel like that commission thing is not fair . Anyway, it was a long video last night. This morning, I fast-forward and threw some of it just to see the products lol the upcoming warmer for March looks cute.

I have to giggle on your description of how Valaya leaves a trail! I’ve had coworkers tell me they knew I was in the office because they smelled my fragrance in the hallway. I get self conscious, like did I spray too much? I usually spray two, maybe three. It’s definitely a quality fragrance!! I love it, so I can’t wait to try the Exclusif. I purchased a sample and it’s should be here soon!

Love your choices! I need to lose more tummy to wear tiered dresses but I love them. All looked great on you! Our thrift stores aren’t that good. They barely reduce prices. But I have gone to purchase XXX sizes & then use the fabric to sew something else. Made a small purse from a leather jacket once.

Thank you for video. I’m ok with all changes except the 20% commission if don’t reach 250. We were promised 25% for life. Not until they want /need to change it. It says on the join page word for word. And a company going back on their word…. I have major concerns.

They definitely should’ve cut licensing before cutting consultants commission. They could also cut out scent and warmer of the month, incentive trips, and parties a little bit and maybe even whiff boxes before cutting the buy 5G1

Thank you for sharing! I've been a consultant for almost 5 years. This has been a nice extra income on top of my full-time job. Now I'm not sure if I want to put as much into in because will it be worth it?! I struggle to reach 2000 each month, but most months I do reach it. Reaching 2500 will be HARD. It's very upsetting!

As a consultant and also as a customer, this just does not make good business sense; taking away the convenience of letting customers shop and get the deals on the website kind of defeats the whole purpose of having the personal website. Taking away 5% of our commission just because we have an off month is unfair. What about all the months I had double in sales, does that not count for anything . I will be taking a step back and rethinking my future purchases, Cutting my club down to a realistic dollar amount and putting any LTO’s I want in that instead of buying everything all the time. I gave up the personal website quite some time ago because all my customers are local and it didn’t make sense to be paying for it. I hope Scentsy can keep going, I think they got too big, offering too many items and perhaps overextended themselves and are now trying to claw back from us to fix it. I would hate to see them fail because I love the products, but these actions are not enticing me to give them much more of my money

What gets me is the 25 % for LIFE. I really have a problem with that part. I can take all the other changes. It is what it is. But taking money that I have already earned!!!! I feel a certain way about that. I will see what this New Year does. Thank you for always keeping it real.

I'm a customer, & I feel like you. I'll have to wait & see how things pan out to make a final decision if I want to keep buying. I been slowing down on buying a lot of wax since I have a good stash. Also, I like candles & other good smelly items that's not from Scentsy. I have never had a club, b/c I don't want to be committed to buying somethig every month or few months. I like buying whenever I want more of something. I may not be getting some of these old scents, but I can always find something that I'll like.

What scentsy is trying to do is get consultants to push the product and sell more cause more sales more profits in there pocket, as a consultant i just cant push a product to sell cause in the end everyone works hard for there money to just stay afloat and put food on the table, yes scentsy has some amazing scents but there are definitely other wax to nicely scent your homes for a third of the cost and no shipping fee involved ( bath and body, walmart, cabelas, ) basically anywhere that sells candles, just pop that in the freezer for an hour and the wax comes right out. Idk i just see dollars sign with scentsy and i cant afford it anymore, for canada it works out to be $1 A cube on a $8 bar of wax ,after tax and shipping its over a $1 a cube and what i warm a day in dollars works out to be a jug of milk and a loaf of bread, reality staying afloat is more important then a bar of wax. It was enjoyable while it lasted but all things come to an end. When i totalled up all my wax, warmers ect..... i could have paid off my vehicle , i know some pple dont put the dollar behind what they spend but we dont make enough. As of march first im sure scentsy will lose alot of customers. Thank you for the reality side of scentsy great video to watch

I’ve been a consultant since 2019 and my only customer is pretty much myself. Sometimes my mother in law but that’s occasionally. I will not be spending $250 a month on Scentsy to stay active! If I lose my status as a consultant I will be buying a lot less, that is for sure!
