We’re not far off 30 years and Bukem’s rhythms still land with solid feelings - keep producing music that connects Danny! Peace❤

I went to this, 2000 was the best year for raving. I went to every thing from late 1998 to 2004, I was still at school when we started going. Sitting in Maths with a comedown on a Monday morning. Off the top of my head this is a list of my 2000 raves. 3 world Dance nights at the Light House. One Nation at Rex was always good (apart from the train back to south London on a come surrounded by people going to work) They moved it to a venue in 7 sisters but they kicked us all out at 2am, something to do with there license. They gave us free tickets for Dreamscrap. Rain dance was under the tunnels at London Bridge before it got done up it was the Drome. It was a very different crowd. Best of British at Bagleys, along with Slammin. For a few months Skiba was running a Monday night rave called Devotion at Aquarium at Old Street roundabout. Movement at Bar Rumba on a Thursday was more of a laid back bubbling night, Brain Gee, Ray Keith playing more liquid sets. Fabric was Tru Playaz once a month. Sometimes we'd go there when D&,B was in the small room. Andy C played the last set of the night, when the lights came on he mixed 5 tunes in 2 minutes. On decks, no laptop. It was amazing. The Een had RAM night once a month, but I think that was 2001. And when we where really got stuck in we'd go to Pryomaniacs at Propaganda on Sunday night. I'm 41 and still go raving, but only 4 or 5 times a year.

All of Bukem's sets are fantastic, this one is in my top five for sure, top track selection. Shame it's a short run time. With Conrad's studio voice over at 7:36, he mentions live on P3, a Swedish station. I wonder if a longer set was broadcast?

First tune, Intense: Sax lick. Love that tune 👌 it was mixing in with a PFM: Dreams, another tune, but the tune switched. No worries, still sounding heavy 🗿🪙 🔊

Nice man, i always loved the early jungle breakbeat stuff from LTJ and Conrad in the 90s. When it the early 2000s came, it all went downhill for me. 🙌

There is something beautiful about this kind of music, it makes me think of everything around me, it’s something too complex to explain yet so understandable when you feel it
