Yea of course he's loaded. At first: When he is backing he look a lot in both mirrors and turn the steering quite a lot to get the trailers (probably b-train) going straight. Then you hear by the enginge its quite heavy when he lets of the clutch to pull up to the start agin. Next clue at 01:07 the speaker says it is "cathegory chargé" which is loaded in French. And last, it's clearly that he starts on first gear and rips through 1 2 3 4th gear than switches to high range and go back where first gear was to click 5th gear. If it had not been loaded (bobtail) he'd start on high range. I had a bobtail-ride whit Normand Lapointe two years ago in Notre dame du nord and he did just that. 5th 6th and 7th gear on that race but I can't tell if it was high or low split. Anyway he took of whit hell of a speed the torque is a lot. They were pretty even but Dave bernier won that heat by half a truck. Best ride in my life! Merci beucop Normand Lapointe!

@awakaraga Well you would be wrong, diesels are not effected by higher lift cams the same way a gasser is. A cam in a diesel actually smooths out idle, quiets it down and produces less smoke.
