You have to be on the same network. I assume you and your friend live separately and start off with 2 different networks?

There no turn order when playing Private Match and also Stroke Play is the only Game Mode in Private Match. Would be nice if EA gave more game options like Skins, Alternate Shot, etc in Private Match.

Agreed. The alternate shot order for head to head matches is a glaring omission as well as stroke play only format which of course games like PGA Tour 2K23 have. Good observations.

I disagree with the last point. This is not, and it shouldn't be 2K23 or The Golf Club before it. This is after all for people who want a more 'single player' experience. I do agree with the other missing features though, particularly the tutorials and fame rate one's.

You forgot the views. Hitting out of a deep bunker and you cannot see where the ball will land. Also around the green you are limited to wedges?? REALLY. I would like to hit anything in my bag at anytime and anywhere. Back to GT7 till the updates come. Lol

I wonder how hard it would be just to upload a facial photo and just have it auto generate a realistic player model, especially with all this AI technology floating around. This current customization process seems a bit dated

No save game in progress in the "Quick Game". A full golf round can take two hours with a couple AI players. So, a save game is a necessity. Also, the AI difficulty is not adjustable. The AI pros. are pretty terrible. Some constantly missing putts that are only inches from the cup. And you can't play "Ghosts" of other players either, as you can in 2K23.

Not all my friends are on steam when we play gmod prop hunt so I'm only really familiar with the vpn or Hamachi method and peer to peer. I read about this add on in steam that supposedly allows you to go peer to peer on steam without using Hamachi or port forwarding. Here's the link steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=868868879. I have not tried this. Please keep me posted on your progress.

A big missing feature for me is a very simple one Online course Leaderboards for each course on each difficulty so if I just want to play a solo round I can still be competitive and play against others scores

Last golf game I played was Tiger 12 I think. The lack of ability to create a character that looks like you is definitely a downer, I mean it was vastly more in depth over 10-15 years ago, c'mon ea... you can't even adjust height n weight smh.

I want to love this game… I really do. I’m a golf nut… I’m a video nut and I’ve probably played every single video game pertaining to golf. No exaggeration….. and I will probably pick this thing up again when it’s half price and it’s running 60 frames and if they ever fix the swing mechanics and putting… I find the tempo of this game insanely slow to the point its just a waste of time and I’m not hating on EA…. But I really thought this game would blow my mind. I really did. I got a refund ! I would say pound per pound the best golf game ever made his 2K 23 and it certainly isn’t perfect. I will say the new golf game by EA has incredible presentation and looks like it’s got a great career campaign….. but I honestly can’t say I like the game … certainly not for 100 bucks…. And don’t even get me going about the ball physics in this game.

Very interesting perspective. I also play 2K23 and it is a different experience... I play both of these golf games. Really like the unusual custom courses in 2K23 developed by the community. Will keep playing EA Sports PGA Tour some more to get a better feel for it.

Save your money. Game is a huge letdown. Not worth a single dollar. Golf is dead on consoles. Tiger woods golf on the psp was better than anything released the past 10 years or so

@Brainy Andy Gaming i couldn't even create a golfer that resembled me. It gave me a black man and a mexican man to choose from along with 2 ladies. I may try again if they add a 3 click swing and white men. Thats if that happens before i sell my xbox which was purchased for cod and golf. Both of those options aren't really worth playing so no need teally to keep my system

@@stanleyderochea6505 Agreed. I struggled with customizing my own player too and was disappointed by the lack of options to get a realistic version. I'm making a list of things for the next video that have shortcomings. If you can think of any more items, let me know. Thanks again for the feedback.

It's a live service game mate, they're always the same, lack features on release. Give it a few months, they'll add in community requested content. The gameplay is extremely rewarding from my perspective, so at least we've a good base game that will improve over time.

@Karl very fair point. It is important to give the game a chance to release updates and allow for new feature updates. Just wish there was a little bit more included in the initial release. Looking forward to keep playing this game though.
