What happened to the simple basic inexpensive photographic tool that was the cornerstone of the xe philosophy.

I am curious if the 80mp sensor comes stacked now. Otherwise noise can get an issue again. On the other side, that would make the 7R VI the preferred one above the A1 II.

I traded my Pentax K-1 Mark ii for a used Pentax K-3 mark iii because of the K-1 ii's autofocus (I did not get along with it at all). the K-3 iii is a wonderful camera, autofocus is good, but I really miss the extra reach (speaking about depth of field) I can play with in the full size K-1 lineup. I've been putting funds away for when the K-1 iii releases, but I know it is still going to sting when I fess up the funds for a new camera (I "assume" it'll be high $3000's to the mid $4000's). For now, I've been loving my K-3 iii and it is with me almost everywhere I go. I've had Pentax cameras since the mid 1980s so all of my lenses still work great on any Pentax in my stash (K-100D Super (having issues with it atm - it does NOT like some lenses), K-10D (my son's daily), K-3 ii (traded for the K-1 ii), K-1 ii (traded for my K-3 iii), and my soon to be here from Canada, K-01 mirrorless (the price was so good I had to buy it, but I HATE not having an eye piece to look through - A camera isn't a cell phone, I need an eye piece). I've been gently looking for another 35mm film Pentax, but I can't seem to find one I "click" with ;) .

Is that new sensor the same as the Canon R3 ?

I've been waiting for a new S1R for several years. I'm still really happy with mine. I think it will be hard to part with it. Now I'll just have to wait until I get a good offer to buy the new S1RII.

Will buy if it does not have a fixed lens. As an existing GFX 50 user there is no point in changing if I cannot use my GFX lenses.

what joke from 24 to 30m. atg says since we only have photo cheaters that relied on raw and software to cheats. beside many people want videos over stills. go with a samsung s25 ultra because it has a 200mp sensor that one can use it has phone/texting/shooting stills/shooting videos.

It would be productive for HAS as well. ELBLAD to integrate 6k video with other cinematic features. One hundred and fifty mexaplixs in Phocus would create a problem; trying to transfer these files. Hasselblad should upgrade the H6d series with new firmware.

i need an 8k 30p 12bit hybrid cine camera to make content for tiktok and youtube, for your smartphones, laptops, ipads and pc monitors. I think this is what all creators need. The 8k on the hybrid model. Make sense. Lets be reasonable. 8k 12bit is useless and overkill except of cinematographers, specifically, plus it must cost more than 4k$. If this camera has those features it's not hybrid so it can not be the A7V. It s maybe the A7siv or sth like that. A7V has to be hybrid. That means nore a lot of megapixels neither crazy stuff on video.

Canon R6 Mark III I hope at last will be switching from outdated, decades old front-lit to BSI-CMOS sensors, if not I'm going back to Sony. At this point mirrorless camera makers should have been experimenting with much more efficient and sensitive SPAD, quantum dot and graphene enhanced CMOS sensors. Graphene sensors are x1000 more sensitive than current ones and can detect even deep thermal infrared spectrum so just imagine enormous possibilities.

If the Z7iii were to fill a hole in Nikon's currently lineup, it would have to be a studio/landscape camera. That means way more than just 493 focus points, extremely fast shutter synch (like 1/1000 or better) to get rid of HSS, the adaptive vibration control from the ZF, and a higher resolution of 60MB or more. There is literally no need for yet another hybrid that bloats with the increases in weight, size, performance, and cost that come from video features.

I will buy a Canon R10 mark ii only if that really comes by this year's holiday season. Else will move to Sony. I have decided to start 2025 with a new camera.

If there is no crop at 50/60 fps everything is fine and i will buy it.
