your air tower is mounted in the wrong direction, for best cooling it is recommended that the air tower is facing forward rather than upwards like yours

" Max Memory Up to 12GB (4GB soldered + 8GB SO-DIMM) DDR4-2666 offering Memory Slots One memory soldered to systemboard, one DDR4 SO-DIMM slot, dual-channel capable Memory Type DDR4-2666 Notes: The max memory is based on the test results with current Lenovo® memory offerings. The system may support more memory as the technology develops." When it comes to the NVME SSD, in my opinion any SSD makes a big difference over a mechanical drive so I guess it would be up to what your preference is brand wise and how much you are willing to spend size wise.

Hi@@Mahess001 the machine has 2 slots. Each slot can only handle max 8GB making it total 16GB across the two slots.
