Hello, this is really cool, I'm trying to integrate a remote controller to a Haas machine, can you please give a hint to were to start? I am looking for a secure shell kind of thing, but might be a different approach. Thanks!

I have a F360 problem that I haven't been able to overcome or find a good explanation for. When I am going about an F360 design, I create sketches and extrude to a body. Later on I will move, align, or join the body and it moves out of line with the sketch. It becomes hard to manage the body via the sketch. How do I better keep this all aligned and easily managed?

Thank you for the video. Just for clarity. 1) I set manually a G54 on my machine say a fixed point on a fixture like a vice (X,Y& Z =0) 2) use probing cycle to get my work zero (G55) ?

It's amazing how fast you created this part. For the tutorial, however, it would perhaps be more convenient if you shifted down a gear, so that one can follow along a bit better. But at least you can stop the video.

Hi Xander, so if you probe only the X-axis coordinate for G55 using G54. the G55 will takes the Y/Z coordinates from G54 and add the new X coordinates? example if originally G54 is X100, Y100, Z100 and G55 is X0, Y0, Z0 and now you probe to G55 X-axis only based on G54 you get the machine controller to have X(measured), Y100, Z100?

Greetings Xander. I am a Cal Poly student, wondering if we can get your permission to use this drone footage in our Cal Poly Rainworks competition. It's nationwide, against tons of schools, and part of our submission is a video about our campus. Your drone footage would be awesome to include!

Hi very nice !! I would like to take up your idea but to create a handwheel on haas lathe I find examples to interface a jostick with an arduino. But in your case, how do you send the movement of the jostick to the haas command? Have you created an application that converts the movements of the game controller to G-code and sends them to you via a DNC link? regards Laurent

If you'll make section of your "wrapped" feature, you'll see that walls of your feature are parallel. It is not wrap, it is simple cut. Check in Inventor command "Wrap"
