Well done Sophie, very interesting video, particularly how those subtle changes made a difference to the performance of the driver. I'm so tempted to have a fitting and try out the titleist drivers....

This is nothing to do with shoulders, you’re rotating your chest/upper torso, which is actually activated by your obliques. You’re literally following the muscles fibres of the obliques by moving more diagonally as well

I’m a V1x guy, after playing the V1 for a few years. Found an AVX on the course and liked the feel of that one, too. You just can’t beat a Titleist!

Consider this; every tour player's tee to green game is largely comparable. So what separates them? Course management/dispersion management. (The odd lucky bounce!) ;-)

Using smaller muscles, hands, leads to greater inconsistency than using larger muscles as in the arms. The larger muscles you can use for any task, the greater consistency and accuracy you will have. Twenty-nine years teaching and coaching. It works!

Most of us average Club Members want the cheapest ball. Pro V's don't make us play any better, and we won't play the ridiculous high price for them. As a high handicapper, I personally don't find any different between any of your range.

Still hitting too many balls to the same location - one ball - one putt - any distance you like …. And leave the green - that will soon sharpen your instincts

Thanks for the video. Next time, please show us this shot facing you so we can see your foot/ball/impact position through the swing. Thanks again.

Your not taking into account the dynamic angle of attack and you will lose distance. You need to get back over the ball with left side and now your hitting bombs. Still hitting up both left side is pressure dominant at impact.

Jamie Gough is one of the greatest coaches that flies so under the radar. Go check out how many professional wins and money that his tour players have won. That is the ultimate metric of "good coach".
