The drain on the rad is a PETcock. You can put a 16-20 inch piece of clear rubber tubing on the petcock before turning it out to direct the coolant exactly where you want it. Don’t let those quickly lube places do it without checking the bleeder screw and the overflow cap and the radiator cap. My daughter’s boyfriend brought his in which included a multipoint inspection. He then drove several hours and the heater started blowing cold air. The kid at the Quickie Lube forgot to put the cap back on properly after checking the coolant.
