The good news is that Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of (eternal life) to all who trust Him *alone* for salvation. He paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. *This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.*

Thank you, Pastor. I am a Deacon that has been asked by my employer's wife to do the funeral service for her husband (Tom, the owner of our company). This is not something that fits my comfort zone, but I am honored to be asked, and humbled the Lord has called me to serve Him in this capacity. It's going to be hard to keep from crying myself, because Tom and I are so close. I've read and listened to a few documents and videos, but your advice touched me. I just wanted to say that your 2-year-old video finally found the person God intended.

Thank you Sir for your video. I am not a pastor but a daughter of a great man/Father. My Father recently just passed away and I am trying to put together a memorial service for when we rest my Father's remains to rest. I am a believer, though not perfect but whole heart wise believe in Christ Jesus. As I am trying to put together this service, my mother doesn't want a pastor there but I don't want the gospel message to be missed in honoring my Father. So I know I will be the one to step in overseeing the service. Now I know that there are some family members that are totally against hearing the gospel or even getting into the word at all. Could you kindly give me any other suggestions in keeping the service respectful in honoring my Father without going overboard in turning family members away from the message of the gospel.
