Greetings from Wisconsin USA. For having no rear suspension the 175 did good, but with enough practice i think the 4 stroker could get a win.

super cool. i got a tri moto 125 probably the same size as the 175s if i had to guess. only complaint is the small ass pegs. ive got a blue 225dr aswell along with a trimoto 200. and a variety of hondas. fun machines nothing beats a three wheeler!

@@minnowlaketuning it takes a while to get used to for sure. my foot kept slipping off because im used to resting it farther away from the machine. but with these you kinda end up rubbing the plastics. still fun tho! when your in the power band on these they seem to climb anything in that gear. pretty impressive.

@@minnowlaketuning Slow compared to todays modded skis, 75mph is easy on a stock ultra 150 , solas prop, ultra intake grate , R&D nozzle , modify the trim cable to get more trim thats stage 1. i did build an engine to run on C16 race gas to chase 100 mph, but i broke my neckin in a un related accident ending up as a cripple and that was my life over lol.

11:11 That thing sounds awesome! The 3-cylinder 2 strokes sound the best in my opinion. I got an old 96 Yamaha Waverunner 3 that I got for free from one of my neighbors because it just randomly died on him one day, long story short it had been sitting for 8 years, and what happened was a ring snatched the top of one of the pistons so I did a top-end rebuild and premixed it 40:1 and rebuilt the carburetor and it fired right up. The jet pump has been in salt water and it's about ruined cuz it doesn't feel as fast as it ought to be, like on plain it acts like it is sucking in some air. I'll find another one on ebay sometime and swap it but other than that it runs great! Gonna start on my stepdad's old 93 Polaris SL650 soon!

I used 10w40 Motorcycle oil. I believe it was a little over a litre but I don't remember for sure

Speedo on the kawi is inaccurate it does 61-62 on GPS all the time. Honda was probably only 1-2 mph slower

Yeah I'll have to revisit the jetting this winter. Gonna try and find some 147s or 148s, mains are way too big in it. Has the 121 phazer skid and track. Has 36mm flatslides in it

Good video. I bought two of these on a nice trailer with 38 & 50 hours on them for 7k. It was a friends dad that just never used them. We take them out a decent amount & have had nothing but fun. If they ever start getting unreliable my next will be some Ultra 310r's I think.

Installed a rough country lift in my brothers 95 f-150 and the instructions were very vague. We had to figure out alot on the fly.

Yeah I've heard arguments back and forth between the gp and the ultra. Not sure which one was actually faster, I know there's stories of out of the box 99 ultras running as high as 68.

It makes more power at lower rpm whence more torque, the down side is 2 stroke makes a lot more heat that 4 joke stroke

Yo so I just bought a 82 identical to the one in your video and it ran great for months all winter up till 2 days ago I went from 3 to 4 th and it just died lost all power but just kept rolling it didn't lock up can you help me out im lost

These comments are crazy! I don't care what anybody says, The Kawasaki is 5mph faster than the Honda. I have Honda everything, ATC 250SX, Talon 1000R and an XR250R but I also have an early 99 Ultra 150 which is faster that the 2000 or 2001 model in this video. I constantly run 67mph GPS

Yup people got big mad haha, the 99s were even faster that's correct. I don't know why people think it's supposed to get blown out of the water. It's a low to mId 60mph jetski whereas the honda is also that. Make sense that they were very close
