To re sync remote to board: Make sure remote and board are off. Press and hold remote round button and turn remote on; don't release remote round button, press and hold the board's power button at the same time for 3 seconds, green light on remote will flash quickly. They are now paired. Turn off both remote and board. You are now re-synced. To unlock speed (make the board go faster ) Turn remote on first then tap board power button 7x continuously. The 7th tap should leave your board in the ON position Now its faster. This must be done every time you turn off the board. If you shut it off you must do this every time. Test it out. Rev up the board on normal mode. Pay attention to the sound and max throttle. Now do the tip I just gave you. You can hear the difference. It really kicks now. YOUR WELCOME.

approx what top speeds did you get??
@5centsmedia8 жыл бұрын
+boyzone5000 even with me being 200lb I easily reach 22 mph on smooth asphalt. I did do a video on my overall stats where I go more in depth on my board experience in a previous video. The top speed has different levels which I discuss in that video.

+boyzone5000 on this ride I have around 40lb extra with my bag plus the bad winds I was doing around 18-19mph if I didn't have my bag and not as hard winds I usually reach 22mph. I've actually clocked it using waze
@boyzone50008 жыл бұрын
+5Cents Media awesome man, thanks for the infos! Have you had any problems so far? Im waiting for my board atm hopefully it arrives this week :)
@5centsmedia8 жыл бұрын
+boyzone5000 I mentioned it in my previous video of the board about its short comings. One being advertised range is shorter than 20 mpc it's more like 11 mpc before becomes more of a push assist skateboard. There is half a battery life based on the light meter but the juice weirdly does seem to have torque to keep it going going. Check out my other video on my overview of the board.

I shot with the iPhone 7 Plus. I actually had the at 1080 on the back and 720 on the front camera. I wish the audio could have been better in the wind but for the most part i love the phone as a camera Thank you for the compliment!

+AdrenalCookie I think it's partly do To the market currently is more invested in the longboards thanks to Boosted. But I personal wanted something for distance riding. Longboards are more comfortable to that purpose. I have a Penny board for short distance rides.

Just got mine yesterday, great ride, i weigh 300 lbs and it picks right up, the only issue i see eventually is the motor wheels wearing down quickly, so hopefully i can replace but for the price you cant complain
@5centsmedia8 жыл бұрын
+rOLLieONeS1 i have not had a problem with my rear wheels and I ride 11 miles daily
@jimmythegent91908 жыл бұрын
I think the Hellfire out performs the Tomahawk because its already been in rotation/production as the KooWheel D3M Electric Skateboard for a while now. The Tomahawk was completely created using KooWheel's D3M parts but on a totally new board for rebranding. During that process QUALITY over QUANTITY was lost. KooWheel has a good track record with good customer service. I contacted them about replacement rear wheels. Genesis on the other hand is another story. BTW my HellFire is 3 days old. Low mileage here in NYC. (Home to Work and Back) Will test the range on it tomorrow.
@5centsmedia8 жыл бұрын
+BroFessor Sqrl in Philadelphia the range was 11mpc and Philadelphia is pretty much flat. if you dealing with hills the range goes down to 6-7 miles. This is also taking in to account in a little heavier than the 160-170 average
@jimmythegent91908 жыл бұрын
5Cents Media I weigh in at 200-205lbs 6'1 So I do take a hit on speed & distance. But overall its holding up so far. I average 15mph which is still fast. (I kick/push on a longboard/skateboard around 8-12mph) My commute to work is less then a 7 min ride on the board. Longest I rode it was 3 miles and I had plenty of juice left. To me its a great occasional E-Board. If one plans on riding like Casey Neistat and putting serious mileage on an E-Board then I would suggest investing on those type of boards.
@5centsmedia8 жыл бұрын
+NY NONSENSE I see no hit on speed but definitely a hit on acceleration. If you want to map out my distance on one of my rides. I start at Temple University and head down to city hall. From there I travel to 30th St Station. After I had across town to the Liberty bell. Finally I touch back at city hall and return north to Temple University my starting point. I was left with less than 50% battery left but it was almost to slow to matter on small hills. One thing I do recommend and many people with hub motors recommend is push off each time you start from a complete start. It helps with wear and tear as well it help the longevity of your battery on trips. It's especially helpful with people like us who are a little heavier. I think that if you are looking at alternatives the best alternatives are the Stary and the Acton S models. The distances limits are a real sore point where I feel this board actually shines above them.
@jimmythegent91908 жыл бұрын
5Cents Media Stary is another rebranded chinese company. Acton S2 & Qua4tro look amazing. And yes I always push off start. That's a tip I've also heard that helps. I also cruise alot so I would actually accelerate then just glide for some distance. I have no real compaints. Its my first E-Skateboard and so far its a blast.
@5centsmedia8 жыл бұрын
+NY NONSENSE I didn't know they were a rebranded board. I've been following them for almost two years. They had to do a kickstarter for their boards and their periodical updates were extensive. Also their remote is way better than boosted
@JoeKyser8 жыл бұрын
you obviously just tried it and didnt actually use it. so what happens after riding it everyday for a month? I already figured that out. Thanks for the review though
@5centsmedia8 жыл бұрын
+Joe Kyser I rode the board an active week before creating the video. Now I will be doing follow up videos on key points and doing status updates on the board too to help other consumers but I totally understand what your saying. How do you like your board after a month might I ask?
@JoeKyser8 жыл бұрын
5Cents Media wow i come off kind of salty huh? im sorry its not you. Im disappointed to say the least. it took 6 weeks to get. the board wouldn't charge. so then it took another week to exchange. the sad part is if i keep riding this board i feel like its going to be useless in another month. Its completely fallen apart. Every time the board flexes it shuts off the controller. Battery hold down just came off, i had to use wire to secure it for now. Rear wheels are torn up beyond belief. I can say it is enjoyable and it does do max speed and under the right conditions i can agree it is able to go the distance but with regular use the board just falls apart. i ride hard and all but im 37 and shouldn't tear it up in a month like it is. For light use riders it may be perfect but the disconnect is a problem. i know of 5 owners that have the same exact issue
@5centsmedia8 жыл бұрын
+Joe Kyser mine arrived in a week. The website states that 4 days to process order then two days to ship which all happened. Fully charged. I have only experienced on disconnect but that was hitting an extremely hard bump. That stinks that you had a bad experience though
@JoeKyser8 жыл бұрын
5Cents Media oh im not the only one and they should have released the boards before figuring out their disconnect problems. Its a fly by night company anyway so what do you want. Yeah i ordered September 3rd. Supposedly it took so long because they had to fix that issuw but it never happened and they sold them anyway and continue to sell them. Its all good its not my only board. My channel is going to get into reviewing more boards. Be gentle thats all i can say and rhe riding atance fixes the issue of disconnect. Just ride with your foot over the back trucks. Make sure you dont flex it thats all. Ive had people tell me their board is fine then come back a week later and say it disconnects and hate it. Oh yeah check your trucks and wheels often. all my bolta keep backing out. the one wheel screw just wont stay in. trucks just loosen up consistently. I saw a video where dude was riding and his truck bolt came out. Theres a few videos now here on KZbin complaining. A little more use and im sure you will see what I mean. Unlesz they actually made one good board lol but i doubt it.
