I miss living in a patriarchal home, hopefully one day I can live in one again, I'm not surprised this guy is against it as he is very feminine.

I think your outfit is lovely! Using the shawl as a tie was a really good idea!

i LOVE that you leave room for the possibility that the CAT was having a bad day ! i'm really enjoying your vlogs. i'm working my way through them having only just found you and the GQ community lately. i find myself drawn to the content and the personal experiences everyone shares. it's an unexpected delight as i have never thought of myself as GQ (not outwardly anyway) but the more i learn the more i feel it's an apt label for me (if labels can in fact be apt... whole other conversation)

I think you're right. As far as I know, we Americans LOVE us some therapy. I've had some sort of therapy since I was, like, 8. Plus, it's required for medical transition, so for trans folks it's super common.

I hear you. I'd like to hear about who you are and how you're doing. I love to listen to your vlogs. You speak beautifully (form and content). I can identify with you also.

@moomintroll8 I can understand people I haven't specifically come out to avoiding the topic, but when I've had conversations with people or written letters to them where I pour my heart out and then they just go back to talking to/about me as if I'm masculine-identified that really hurts; I don't always tell them that when I should, though. I don't expect them to suddenly know everything but asking me about it at all would be a start.

How would you want your family and friends to talk about genderqueerness? I'm thinking that they don't know how to talk about it. I'm very interested in the subject, but I'm not sure how I would talk about it. We need a script.

I love how you explain the relationship between protesting the gender binary and expressing how you feel. You finally put words to my feelings and intentions. Yay =)

@sirrachelface Yeah, I think it's also tricky because you're not just asking for you, you're asking other people to use them to other people which could be quite hard to do. Anyway, thanks, I'm glad you like them!
