I was in boot camp in 1970, US Navy (for 13 weeks!). My DI didn't sound anything like these gents. Old school I guess.

We had to do a 25 mile hike within 8 hours before we deployed to Okinawa. In the 80’s

San Diego airport is next door. Many times I wished I was on the plane flying back home while in Navy boot camp, which was next to the Marines MCRD . LOL

I was Golf Company when I started in November of 2007. I got the hard training I deserved...but no jelly doughnut. The nerve lol. Semper Fi.
