Hi!Nice video! I need some help. I dont know how to import the sketchup model. It s imported merge and if i convert it to morphs the pen sets doesn t work well. How can i import right a sktehup model?

Thank you! Great work! Just a question: do you think there can be a way to make this system work for sections, too? The problem of course is that if we on one hand we usually have only four elevations, on the other sections can be potentially an infinite number. If you don't think this can work, did you figure out a way to create appealing sections?

Very great tip however I noticed in my model that the outline of any wall openings made by doors or windows also generate the new line weight which does not seem to happen in your project. Would you by any chance know why this is occuring?

Is it possible to distinguish where the element that is closest to us has the thickest line, but where it overlaps the element behind, it drops in line weight. In other words, there should be a profile line that is the most thick, but that line shouldn't overlap any of the other elements.

thank you so much for your video it's so helpful! but can you please explain how did you creat the concrete panel in the elevation ? Did you set it up from the beginning or did you draw it using the line tool?

That is vectorial fill pattern, see more here: help.graphisoft.com/AC/24/INT/_AC24_Help/070_Documentation/070_Documentation-13.htm

Am failing to see the new properties created in my archicad, how do I do it
@memoriaphotography35914 жыл бұрын
What version of Archicad are you in?
@ogdandarkage85764 жыл бұрын
Nice, but how would you do that on one single pitch roof, where in elevation, the front edge of the roof is closer than the rest of the pitch. Thank you!
@abdh12343 жыл бұрын
That would be a gradient, not possible with vectorial info. You'd need to fake it with a fill background.

What version of ArchiCAD is in? I just tried it in ArchiCAD 22 and the properties are not showing in the element classifications/properties.

Did you download and import the properties? See minute 1:30>

After importing the properties, go to Classification Manager in bottom right corner. Copy ARCHICAD Classifcation 21 to ARCHICAD 22. I had to this manually. Can't simply drag. Click OK and the Property should be there in walls etc.

hey dude! can you make a video modifying the elevation symbols?

Hi Noel, Can you specify what symbols you are talking about? Would love to take a shot at it.

One problem: It seems that if i don´t use your same archicad 21 template the lines don´t get proper thickness, or maybe its the pens file. Could you upload this?
@cadeshackteam60036 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply. I apologize, I thought I had included the pen set. I just added it to the "Properties" Folder. It is an .aat file, just pull the Pen Set and it should work. We'd appreciate if you can confirm it worked. Thanks!

After seeing these comments, I noticed there are missing Fills as well. Could you upload this as well? Thank you, CADshack Team for making these settings available. Saved me unknown amount of hours.

Thanks for sharing, that helps for sure I was wondering why not insert the render png image directly into the layout of the elevation...
@cadeshackteam60036 жыл бұрын
Hi Paco, thanks for watching. You can definitely place the render directly, just like we show on the other video "Adding Rendered 3D Views to Layouts". The only reason I do it this way, is that I haven't found a way to turn off the sky (transparent background) when doing it directly. This is why I render PNG because it enables alpha channel making background transparent. If you render building and sky, you won't be able to insert trees behind the building like we show by the end of the video.
@cadeshackteam60036 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. There are some limitations with transparency when placing a rendered view directly on a layout. We have been playing with options and have found some good strategies. We will post something about that soon. Thanks!
