You need to rewatch your therapist session over and over till you overcome yourself.

Dude this is just like what Arturs said. You’re going to get your first GM norm & it is alllll downhill from there. You’re really already there & the pieces just need to be set to fall into place. This is gonna happen man & we are beyond stoked to see you all the way through!

Levy should incorperate a sport Psychologists. Excellent player, far better than I ever will be but seems he is getting in is own way with overthinking.

Gm not too far Levy. Here I'm losing straight 4 matches in 800-900 elo after I got the motivation watching him.

GMs have more expectations than IMs, you sure you're up for that pressure for the rest of your chess career?
@oneRyanJosephСағат бұрын
This is exactly the candid frustration I wanted to gear from someone of IM level. Thanks for keeping it real

Levy did you hear about the 85th GM from India named Shyaam Nikhil. He received his 2nd GM norm in 2012 and 3rd GM norm in 2024 after 12 years. Very inspiring story. Hope it will motivate you to achieve your goal.

Having a slightly worse or even a slightly uncomfortable position is just pure agony in 90+30, especially against lower rated players. If you are just losing you can come to terms with your situation, but you do not know what will happen in a slightly worse position, there is still a chance to come back and win or draw (painful against lower rated players), but you can FEEL your optimism fading away as the clock ticks down. After a massive 90+30 tournament I'd do nothing for five days, which really isn't sustainable when you have work.

I'm so happy I don't have to deal with any of that 😄 I'm 14 hundred garbage and I'm having a blast. You know, hanging forks, mates in one, noticing hang forks and mates by my opponent, some silly tactics, occasionally uncorking some savage sacs, etc. Chess is awesome when it's just a hobby.

Out of nowhere reveals his openings , extravagantly outclasses us in speech , calls kids asswhole for being better , claims theory ruined the shit out of everyone , made Sicilian and Caro Kann players question their life decisions & proceeds to play Chess 😮
